Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, eating and drinking in lovely beer garden
Fabulous food, had baguettes (have since also had Sunday lunch and a mac n cheese!)
Welcoming staff, lovely refurbished perfect pub
Dog and child friendly, you won’t find a warmer welcome, can’t wait to spend many an evening there, roll on winter to be able to sit around one of the two wood burners

Thank Emma W

Recently reopened after an extensive refurb. Now owned by Joules Brewery and has a good range of real ales.

Much larger inside than it looks from the street and has a nice garden at the back.

Unlike the old set-up, food is now available until 9pm.

We had a couple of their steaks, which were very nice, a good size, nicely cooked and reasonably priced for what you got.

Just called in for a drink but were made to feel welcome. A couple of drinks in front of a real fire by the bar was just the job on a freezing December night.

We went for lunch one day whilst holidaying in the area.

Warm welcome from the staff. Had a light lunch which was far from light (very generous portion at a very good price). Food very tasty. Would thoroughly recommend.
