Our family of 4 two adult couples came here in jan. 2021 for a 4 night stay . I chose this hotel for the reviews here on trip advisor. From the moment we arrived to the time we had to check out, we absolutely loved this place.
Our 2 bedroom, two bath unit with a stunting dead on view of coffee pot rock was nothing short of (a holy cow) moment. Our room had everything we could want to make for the perfect place to stay. We each had our own separate bedroom, complete with queen size bed, full bath, sinks, tv in rooms, rain shower, and the multiple art works on the walls. The full kitchen was fully equipped for any cooking or storage needs you may require. We loved the color changing fireplace that gave an added bonus to the room.
My favorite feature by far was the walk out balcony that had a ( to die for) view of the red rocks including coffee pot rock. IMO even better than airport view vista. as photography is my hobby im always taking pictures . this had the perfect viewpoint. overlooking the grounds , pool , and walkways with the red rocks in the background.
We used the hot tub every night after a full day of touring the town. This feature was great accommodating up to 6 it had plenty or room for all. during our time here it was too cold to use the pool other than maybe sticking your foot in it.
The grounds here on property were decorated from scratch (according to the owners) and were an attraction in there own right. i took photos every day and night and each time discovered new decorations and hidden gems throughout the property. Look for the donkeys, hummingbirds , butterfly's , fountain , streams, and so much more.
Needles to say as everyone comments on , the breakfast was wonderful each day. They have different house special each day, that includes breakfast burritos, ommlets, and if this does not agree with you, you can always have eggs and sausage instead. or sample from the counter items.
The staff and owners were all very friendly and helpful in every regard. helping with our hiking and touring questions, sharing stories and always on hand and available . We saw them multiple times on and about the property seeing to the daily needs of its guest and grounds.
During our stay sedona was hit with an unusual storm front, that placed close to 13 inches of snow in the area in 3 days time. this closed roads, stores and trails. It also provided a most unusual and rare look for this special place, making it even more special. We got see sedona in a way most people dont. Even with the snow closing everything. here and around the country i could not think of more pleasant place to be stuck in. We completely enjoyed our time here, and hope some day we can return to visit again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. for those who need to know, the hotel does practice covid guidelines. has hand sanitizers , must where mask in public places, 6 ft social distancing , and the like. I never felt as if i were at risk or worried about it.
