1 night stay on Xmas night before heading to Tucson. Get to spin the Wheel of Fortune and won 250 Marriotts points. The room does has a distinct fragrance/smell and need to get used to it though I wonder what air fresher that is being used. Fridge and microwave in the room with 2 beds. Standard breakfast items except breakfast time stopped at 9 am. I wish they can push the breakfast hour to end at 10 am. Nothing major to complain about though upon check in, heard the front desk agent in a long telephone conversation with a guest about late check out. I wish that the front desk more flexible or accommodating when guests asked for late check out. I did not request and so, no idea whether the request will be honored or not and hearing the exchange, I do not even want to bother to ask unless I am a certain tier membership in Marriotts that able to request for late check out though it is never guarantee, it is subject to availability. Bottom-line is that from customer point of view, be more flexible and accommodating when guests needed a late check out...

Thank you for selecting our hotel for the Christmas of Lights display. We hope you enjoyed the light show as much as you did our hotel. You are correct in stating that a late check out is upon availability and we do all we can to accommodate when possible. We know what a convenience this is and a value to our guests. However, at times we are not able to do so. We appreciate guests like you understanding. We hope to have you stay for a longer time on your next visit.

We had a wonderful stay over the holidays. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos to Paul at the front desk who gave us many good suggestions for family activities which really made out trip. Also a big thanks to Holly in the breakfast bar who greeted us every morning with a smile. The rooms and premises are clean and comfortable and the location convenient. Would highly recommend it.

Although I agree with all the raving reviews about the rooms and the spaciousness all that was great, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was better than expected for a free breakfast. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly even after I brought the mold problem to their attention. However I can only give them one star because they have a major issue with mold in the bathrooms, there is no proper ventilation, so I don't believe the issue can be resolved until that is fixed. I will be choosing a different hotel while staying in Scottsdale.

Our room at Springhill Suites in North Scottsdale was truly a suite. We had a sitting room with couch, tables, floor lamp, flat screen TV, desk and chair, microwave, frig and coffee make with coffee and tea. Our bedroom consisted of two queen beds, a small chest and flat screen TV. The bathroom had only one sink, but it did have a water closet.. The towels and sheets were very good and the toiletries were top of the line. The room was clean and bright and done in shades of green. Our phone rang after we had been there about 15 minutes and it was the front desk checking to see if everything was alright. This property offers many perks - no resort fee, no parking fee, complimentary breakfast, wifi, shuttle and admittance to a local fitness center even though they do have a pool, hot tub and small fitness room. We were impressed and would recommend this property.

Perfect location in Scottsdale. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good, hard not to be able to find something. Lobby was comfortable and clean. The room was spacious, very clean, with 2 TV's, refrigerator and micro wave were a plus. The only issue we would have is that both of the beds were 'noisy'. No chance of having to get up in the middle of the night without waking the other person in the room. This was annoying. Other than that, we loved this hotel but would recommend replacing some beds.
