This usually is our go to place since my kids love all the amenities at the pool. I was pleasantly surprised that they still had servers and the slide area was open with a lifeguard. Having it be Thanksgiving week and the weekend, they did do nice little things like Smore's night. I guess they were going to charge for the kit but when we arrived, there was so few people by the firepit they just gave it to us for free. Much better deal then the 30 dollars that we paid a few days later at the Fairmount for the exact same thing.
The rooms feel a little outdated but very clean. It's more so they go for a southwest theme vs the more modern looks you see. Over the weekend it did get more busy with some kids baseball tournaments in town from California. Everyone was very good about wearing masks and they had all the pool seats separated in groups of 2 or 4 with space. When we were still there the wed after thanksgiving one of the staffers mentioned they were only at about 5% capacity. it felt like a ghost town and somewhat weird. But we lucked out the weather was gorgeous and my kids had a giant pool to themselves in between their e-learning back in Chicago. No complaints there. For the price and service, I was very happy.More
