I’m in room 2108 for two nights . The room is very dark, Outdated, and has no view. It’s depressing as hell. We are HH gold members and should have gotten an upgrade, which we asked for. They said they didn’t have one. But I looked on booking websites and their website, which shows they did.
The pools are over crowded. Chairs for maybe 1/4 of the people here. People have to put towels on the ground . I think they want to force people to pay for their cabanas. The cabanas have no sun. No one is renting them. They contain a tv and two chairs, not even chaise lounges.
There is supposed to be wait service, but I haven’t seen anyone since I’ve been sitting at this pool for two hours.

Stayed: March 2018

I guess staying during Spring Training during high season on a weekend warranted the higher price for our room. While the public areas throughout the property were very nice, our actual room, though very clean, was definitely tired and in need of some modernization. The furniture was simply functional and seemed dated and the bathrooms, again, while very clean, had old fixtures. The maze of hallways connecting the various areas need painting and the carpeting was old. I realize that these all take a beating but they detract from the atmosphere of the "resort" the way they look now. The staff was pleasant and the location is convenient for exploring the area. From the photos on the website I was expecting a bit more.

We are Hilton diamond members and stayed at this property for three nights. The exterior of the building is deceiving with doors on the outside similar to a motel, but once inside the room you will have a beautiful view of one of the two pools or of the lovely courtyards. Our room was on the second floor on the back side of the resort. It was a bit of a walk to the lobby, but much more parking available. We had drinks at the bar for happy hour and had all of our breakfasts in the hotel. If you got there at primetime the lines were long, but we were seated within 5 minutes. Since we are diamond members the cold breakfast was free. You could get the hot breakfast for an additional 5 dollars, but was worth the extra cost. One morning we elected for only the continental breakfast. The waffle machine was located in the area with the cold items so my husband thought it was included as part of the continental breakfast. He found out later that the waffle machine was part of the hot items and was disappointed that he would have to pay 5 dollars additional for one waffle. Our server was very nice and waived the 5 dollar charge. Also included in the hot breakfast were made to order omelets which were very good. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds very much. The location of the hotel is near the fashion district and close to many restaurants and bars. We will come back to stay at this property again if in the area.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor offer a nice view of the pools and courtyards.

We stayed here for a bunch of days as a way to get a bit of distance from the grandparents' small home. Very nice internal space and workings. Relaxing grounds, and good activities including tennis, basketball, and a putting green. The pools were a bit cold for teh time of year, but I suspect this isn't a problem most of the time. As a bonus, you can practically walk to the Chollo Trail access point for Camel Back Mountain. All in all a good sanctuary in teh heart of Scottsdale.

Room Tip: Close to Camel Back

Loved this property and the convenience of the restaurants and bars on site, as well as the health club, basketball and tennis courts and pools. Aspects of the room could use an update, mainly in the bathrooms, but all around a great stay.. would like to go back soon!
