Convenient location so that we could walk to the town & its restaurants, museums, port, etc. Clean comfortable hotel. Not all staff spoke English which was a minor problem but didn't spoil our visit. Wonderful view of the town from the breakfast room.

Ok you been warned...i told you so....dont say nobody told you!!! So we did a 3 day trip down here from BA ,i read the reviews and thought people were just being overly sensitive, i like the location and the price so i booked it. The room was nice and clean, the beakfast was normal according to the area. The view from the 4th has to be one of the best in town!! We spent 2 nights there and that was enough !

Overall, this is quite a nice hotel, the lobby is attractively appointed. Not the least of its charms is a wrap around view of the Beagle Channel from the breakfast room. The breakfast is adequate, like a USA chain hotel. My room, besides a view of a construction site, was modern and well laid out, with handy shelves and not-bad reading lights.

The problem was the acoustics, there seemed to be no insulation in the walls, I could hear everything from the room above as well as an argument out in the hall. In addition, the materials used in the hotel, amplified rather than absorbed the sound.

Yes, the hotel is on a hill, as noted in many reviews. Everything in Ushuaia is on a hill, it is a touristy hillside town, overlooking the Beagle Channel. From this hotel you are a short downhill walk to the main drag, full of sport and tourist goods, as well as many restaurants, even the Hard Rock Cafe. Think Gatlingburg, Tenn., but not quite a s tacky.

I also felt, as in another Patagonian hotel, that the desk clerk was not too fond of tourists.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view. Not a view of a construction site.

The problem with cruise boats is you often get disembarked early. We went to mil810 and reception phoned around their cleaning staff ,and found an earlier room for us. Now that is service . Pay attention albatross hotel. When we arrived in ushuaia,we were met wih a"check in is at 2"and the staff didnt even bother checking the computer. The persoanlised sspervice in this small clean and friendly hotel was great. Breakfast incl is fair ,as it is in a lot of sth american hotels. English speaking front desk. Well located

I always felt that people in Ushuaia are very kind.
Especially the hotel staffs are really kind and helpful. The hotel itself is not bad at all. Room was clean and neat. Good wifi connection, nice breakfast.
The view was awesome from the restaurant where you have breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room tip: higher floor can have nice view of the city since the hotel is located on the upper street
