Small hotel, garden is beautiful, but the bathroom at our room was a disaster. You were lucky if you got wet under the shower. An unpleasant poster on the bathroom mirror told you that if you ruined any towels, you would be charged for new ones. A surveillance camera was installed in the breakfast restaurant to monitor employees and/or guests?- Even here a very unpleasant sign was put up - telling you it was stricktly forbidden to take any food from the buffet with you, which indeed was very poor, no eggs, no ham just cheese and jam, in addition to rolls and pastries. One - 1 - glass of orange juice was offered you by a waitress. The owner - a mature lady - was one day shouting and yelling loudly at her staff, it was really embarrasing. We felt that the employees always went on tiptoe. A pity such a nice place has owners with such attitude.

Not the best hotel. Peregrine booked the hotel. They make you sign a waver before you book in ... You must buy your drinks at the bar if you want to sit by the pool. The rooms were not great, the bathroom was terrible.

Room tip: There are better options

We didn't get off to a good start. Showers didn't work and we had to move rooms late at night, but the stay was not so bad. The rooms are spacious, the showers ok, and the Wifi was very inconsistent. However the staff were very helpful in organising transport, both to the falls and across the border, and they honestly did their best.
Not a bad place to stay!

The hotel is well located and only a short walk to the main streets of town. Reception staff are friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Check in/check out was all very smooth, and they have a luggage room too.
Breakfast was a bit limited, mainly just cakes and sweet biscuits, but was nice nonetheless. Pool area looked very nice but sadly didn't really get to use it because of unseasonably not great weather!
Bedrooms were a good size and very comfy with good air con. Shower didn't seem to have a door on, and so the bathroom got soaked every time the shower was used, and there was also a very slight damp smell within the room... maybe the two were related.

The place is well located, 3 blocks from the bus terminal and the main streets for restaurants. They also have a nice italian restaurant inside the hotel (La Toscana) with a 10% discount rate for hotel guests. The downside is the bathroom in the room, with no windows and a weird smell of sewage.
