Our room was very nice and the bed comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Wifi didn't work for most of our stay.
The proximity of the rooms to the pool was a real negative. The noise from screeching children and shouty grandpas spoilt what would have otherwise been a lovely stay.

Really beautiful! We had the chance to live in a room with 2 floors. We found it soooo romantic with a relaxing balcony (perfect to drink maté for the sunset). Really well located and quiet. Moreover, the breackfast is full with a lot of different things for all tasts.

I've been traveling my whole life and it's the first time that I thought I was going to have to leave a hotel in the middle of the night and find a new one. Children were screaming at one in the morning outside my room and mosquitoes were feasting on me through the bedsheets. Electric cords were dangling from the ceiling and I thought I was going to get electrocuted when I went to take a shower. The handle almost fell off and water sprayed all over. Construction workers with jackhammers woke me up before sunrise as the mosquitoes retired. I would give it zero stars if I could.

To begin with, the hotel looks indeed better in the pictures. Our room was a duplex and had a nice rustic decoration, although one could easily notice the (otherwise expected) wear and tear due to the super humid climate. For example, the wooden door of the room was not fitting very well to the wooden frame and was letting a small crevice open. For people who are afraid of insects (i.e. me), this can be the cause of stress. Needless to say that mosquitoes and ants where our roommates... The location was nice with 2 supermarkets around the corner and the staff very friendly. Considering that the climate conditions there are really difficult, the hotel was decent enough for the money spent!
