We selected this hostel because our guidebook recommended it as clean, and they had a website (which we considered a good sign.) Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The hostel was clean, but that was it. There was absolutely no charm or atmosphere to the hostel or the room - in fact, the entire room was tiled in old linoleum. They said there was a pool, but it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and there was nowhere to really sit next to it - it was in the backyard looking out on a busy street (no privacy.) There was no hot water, just lukewarm (even though we let the shower run for about 10 minutes), the mattress was uncomfortable, the room smelled like mildew, and both the fan and the air conditioner made loud, grinding noises when turned on. We spent a miserable, uncomfortable night in this hostel, and checked out the next morning. We splurged an extra $10 USD (about 30 pesos) to stay in a hotel down the street that was 100% better, for our second night in Iguazu. For a backpacker truly looking for a clean, budget accommodation, this would be fine (it was better than camping) - but for travelers looking for something a bit more comfortable, I wouldn't recommend it.
