The Two Oceans Aquarium contains marine life from the Indian and Atlantic Ocean. Based on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront Cape Town, it showcases the diverse of marine life found in these two oceans. Great for kids. The massive tanks with predatory fish and sharks is something you could sit and watch for hours. Although the place seemed a bit small, we covered everything within 1 hour. Nice place to kill some time.

I recently took my school learners to the V&A Aquarium for an outing. I think I enjoyed it more than the children as I understood and could reason much better than most of them on the animals and their habitats. This place is a must visit to Cape Town, because it has most of (almost all) the sea animals found around the shores of South Africa. You will need a day and plan your visit as they have feeding times for the different animals on different days. A great family outing.

As the City is bounded by two oceans, there are examples of both to be seen here Sharks and Sting Rays swim in the large tank whilst there are smaller tanks filled with sea creatures of amazing varieties. Take past in the penguin experience and actually touch one or watch the Cape fur seals from the viewing platform.
To see all exhibits will take you an hour and three quarters, There is an excellent restaurant and a gifts shop avilable.

This unique aquarium in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront of Cape Town displays a school of different fish found in both the adjoining oceans, namely the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans. They actually meet a little further into the sea. This relatively new entertainment centre is ideal for meet-and-greet functions at conferences. I was fortunate to be part of the annual international Industrial and Commercial Use of Energy Conference. The affordable cocktails and ocean-fresh sea-foods thrown in were delicious
