My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Westin Cape Town on a recent trip. Great views, delicious and decadent "continental breakfast" (including smoked salmon, champagne, and a variety of juices and smoothies) on the 19th floor overlooking the city's I had one of the best massages of my life from Megan in the spa - at 660 ZAR (<$50) for a 90 minute boutique spa experience, you can't beat the prices! Clinton at the concierge handled multiple restaurant reservations for us, and each time we got a great table. I would highly recommend letting the hotel do your restaurant reservations, and visiting the spa.
We checked out on our final day, planning to spend the day touring Constantia before our midnight flight. Soon after checking out, I fell ill and the prospect of a day in the heat drinking wine was much less appetizing. We came back to the hotel to see if they had a day room we could use. The front desk attendant and manager were so kind and immediately found us a room so I could sleep and be close to a bathroom. I am eternally grateful to the kind staff for helping us out - it was above and beyond, and much appreciated in my time of need! More
