The cape rose cottage is situated close to the twelve apostels mountain range on a beautiful spot in camps bay. the view is outstanding, the cleanness and cozyness of pam and steve's cottage is perfect. I enjoyed their hospitality and support during my entire stay. always note that the stay in this cottage is far more homely than the stay in a hotel room. it is personal, it gives you the feeling you'd always wanna have being abroad.

Room tip: If ever you're looking for friendliest and helpful hosts, go for the cape rose cottage and ask for pam and steve!

Pam and Steve were fantastic hosts, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The housekeeping staff were lovely and our room was kept spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Lavender Room which was bright and airy with a perfect view of the ocean. We shared a very large lounge area with two other guests though most of the time had it to ourselves. Breakfasts were great...fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bread, jams and a meat and cheese platter if requested at no extra charge. In addition to this Pams home made shortbread biscuits were the best we’ve ever eaten. Don’t stay here if you want to be in the thick of the hustle and bustle, this is a quiet and peaceful haven. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We stayed at Cape Rose Cottage for 10 nights and can honestly say we would not stay anywhere else when visiting Cape Town again!

Steve & Pam welcomed us with open arms from day one and we’re nothing but exceptional hosts throughout!

The room was spotlessly clean, well stocked with toiletries, amenities and breakfast replenished daily. Pam was also kind enough to provide us with a fruit salad and a meat and cheese platter daily, which was delicious!

The views from our room (Lavendar room) were breathtaking! We will miss waking up to the peaceful ocean view, and also watching the beautiful sunset.

The pool area is very peaceful and relaxing and so is the lounge area with the honesty bar and spectacular views.

We used Uber to get around Cape Town which is the cheapest and easiest way to travel about if you’re not driving.

We cannot find any faults with this beautiful cottage, and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting!

We will definitely be returning in the near future! We already miss it!

Thanks again Pam & Steve!

We stayed at Rose Cottage after already spending 7 days in Cape Town and Franshheok. Rose Cottage was hands down the most relaxing part of our trip.

We were welcomed on arrival by Pam who went out of her way to show us around and ensure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. The room was extremely comfortable, bright and homely, with fantastic views over the ocean. Any minor issues that we had (hairdryer not working, wifi signal low etc.) were quickly sorted out by Steve, for which we were very grateful.

When we went out to explore Camps Bay we realised how close we were to everything, and even getting to the V&A waterfront or any other touristy areas outside of Camps Bay were only a short Uber ride away.

Staying here was great as it felt a bit like being at home. We were well looked after, and yet still afforded our privacy. We really appreciated the bottle of sparkling wine we were given as a gift to say Happy New Year, as well as the selection for breakfast. Pam even took the time to make sure we liked what we were being given each day.

If we were ever to stay in Camps Bay again (which we hope we will!), then we would certainly be wanting to stay here again. Thank you Pam and Steve, no wonder you have so many positive reviews already :-)

Room tip: We stayed at the blue room upstairs with ocean view - was fantastic

Cape Rose Cottage, Camps Bay, Cape Town: Home away from home, the greatest place to be. Friendly, beautiful, close to most attractions of Cape Town and the most beautiful sunsets anywhere in the world - and we lived in a lot of different places! 2020 we will be there for the 5th time.
