It is not everyday that you have Zebra's drinking out of your pool! We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed everyone one of them. Beautiful cottage with a wonderful heritage. Easy drive to Nelspruit and surrounding areas including Graskop God's Window etc.

Dear Morne,

We are delighted that you enjoyed your time with us at Tomjachu. Its always such a treat to get a visit from the 'Stoep Sitters' (our name for the particular herd of zebra!)
We hope you will visit us again soon, and thank you for visiting our little piece of bush heaven.

We stayed at Tomjachu for two nights, but would have loved to stay a bit longer. Excellent place to stay, very friendly people and wonderful surroundings. As there are no predators you can go for a walk without guidance. We walked between giraffes, zebra's, impala's etc. etc. and felt like walking in Jurassic Parc; awesome!

Dear Tanja,

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, and we are delighted you enjoyed your time at 'Jurassic Park'!! We believe it is one of the greatest joys to be able to walk unguided amongst the wonderfully varied wildlife of South Africa.
Perhaps next time you will be able to stay a little longer, and we hope that will be soon!
From all the Team at Tomjachu, thank you.

We spent 3 lovely days at the Bush Cottage at Tomjachu. The drive up on the gravel road was a bit rough but we arrived to find a great well-equipped which comfortably catered for 3 adults and a toddler, could easily work for 2 couples also. Its set sufficiently far away from others so you feel like its just you and nature. Everything we needed was there - pool, braai, lots of seating areas dotted around the cottage, and the hammocks were a highlight! We were disappointed by the dinner and the picnic basket from the homestead, but there'll be no need for it if you bring enough food. The staff was overall friendly and welcoming. Definitely would come back

Dear Ntokzie,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review, and we are delighted that you enjoyed your time with us at Bush Cottage.
I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your dinner at the Homestead, as usually, our chefs produce excellent food. I have spoken with Cheryl about your picnic basket, and we have addressed this issue in the kitchen. We do apologise that this was not up to our usual high standard.
We certainly hope that you will visit us again and we look forward to seeing you soon!

From arrival up until departure Tomjachu Bush Lodge ensured a wonderful experience! Staff was very friendly and helpful and the cottage was beautiful and well equipped (Keeper's Cottage). Next time we will try the Rock cottage, as this is said to be the honeymoon cottage. Stunning views and we enjoyed the private braai and boma at our cottage a lot.

If you want a stay in an awesome accomodation, hosted by great people in amazing surroundings, visit Tomjachu! We stayed in the Rock house for three nights and it was wonderful. A clean house with a very good bed, shower and kitchen. But the best part was outside, a braai, a wood fire, private pool and a hammock. Waking up one day with curious monkeys in front of the house and the other morning the zebras surprised us with a visit. One word, amazing!

It sounds like you had a great time in Rock House! Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review. We are delighted the zebra came to pay you a visit - they like to use the pool there as a watering hole sometimes!
We hope to see you again, and thank you for visiting us.
