“Fantastic Restaurant”

The Werf Restaurant at Boschendal
Price range: HK$41 - HK$124
Description: Offering an array of authentic culinary experiences. First and foremost our focus is on providing flavourful and nourishing farm-to-table food; celebrating the bountiful produce of Boschendal and the Franschhoek valley with menus that shift with the seasons. Much of the fresh produce you’ll find on your plate is sustainably grown right here on Boschendal Farm, and where possible we source other ingredients from farms and small producers in the surrounding winelands. In fact, across our restaurants we work hard to keep food miles to a minimum: three-quarters of the ingredients on our daily restaurant menu are sourced within 30-kilometres of the farm. With such a wonderful array of local produce on offer, it’s little surprise that our team of skilled chefs, under Executive Chef Christiaan Campbell, conjure up a mouth-watering feast of dishes at restaurants across the estate.

Service was fantastic and food was out of this world. Very modern and full of flavour.
Great recommendation from The Villa Rosa Guest House in Cape Town.

lunch with international guests at Die Werf, and visit to Boshcendal. Lunch was tasty and fair sized portions. A little more effort would be nice for the table settings.... and the gardens a little on the uncaptivating side !

We loved our visit here so much last year we came back. It didn't disappoint. We love sitting on the terrace looking out over the beautiful gardens, sipping delicious wine whilst being served a memorable lunch. We'll be back.

We enjoyed the lovely patio setting at The Werf, as well as the set menu, service and wine offering. The decor and floral arrangements in the bathroom are beautiful. Live music on the day was not great (some nice jazz would have been better in our opinion) - however, highly recommended and most enjoyable. Excellent and friendly service.

We organised lunch here as it was one of the wineries on our wine tour. The grounds are stunning and the view from our area of the restaurant was amazing. Food was very good, overall great lunch.
