The hotel was really nice. The room was big and modern, and the grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was included with the stay and the breakfast buffet was delicious with a nice mix of local and more options. The hotel is in a good location as it is a quick trip to the other attractions in the La Fortuna/Arenal area. My only complaint, and it wasn't the hotel's fault, was that a big selling point was the view of the volcano out the window of the hotel room, but the days we were there were rainy and cloudy and we never saw the volcano. We'll just have to come back and try again I suppose. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. It has a very relaxed feel. The hotel is located in beautiful gardens and has great views of the volcano, weather permitting. The rooms were large and we had a Jacuzzi in it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with an omelette station if desired. We didn't have a car so ate at the pool restaurant each night. They had themed buffets and all the food was good. If we'd had a car, we might have ventured into La Fortuna but it was a fair distance away and we were happy with the hotel food for 3 nights. There are thermal springs on the property but we chose to take the hotel shuttle to their other, larger thermal springs area, which we enjoyed. It was a good base for ziplining, hikes and hanging bridges tours. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful resort and wonderfully helpful staff. There is also so much to do in the area. It was unfortunately too foggy for us to see the volcano, but we had a lovely stay nonetheless. I would recommend this resort for your stay in Costa Rica.

From the moment we entered Kioro we felt the love of Costa Rica. The staff was nothing short of amazing and in my opinion when you travel the people tend to reflect the country. & let’s just say I wasn’t too far away from googling houses for sale in CR lol.
But overall our experience was lovely. The food was good (not the best CR has to offer) but honestly you should hit local spots in LA Fortuna and not eat hotel food all week. But for those couple days you have to you won’t be let down.
Rooms were pretty clean. Not the greatest in terms of style and renovation but comfortable enough for you to enjoy your stay. Overall great accommodation.

We had a beautiful view of the mountain and lush gardens. Loved the room's setting. It was raining when we were there and we were driven in a car to our room. That is a fantastic service and we never got wet. Breakfast was full of variety of food. We are vegetarians and we had no problems. If we come back to Arenal volcano area we would definitely stay here. Enjoyed the natural springs too.

Room tip: we preferred more light and more coffee. We got only 2 cups of coffee a day for 2 people.
