I have been attending races at Talladega since 2000.
The racing is exciting, but the camping is the BEST in NASCAR.
Two races a year. Don't miss the biggest baddest track in NASCAR

Such a great track, great people, and great parking.
If your a Nascar fan this is such a fun experience. We only came in for Sunday’s race but if I had the time and the money we’d love to do the whole week
They also do a great job in engaging fans on social media - #TeamKylie !!!

Racing fans or no.... it’s NOT just a race, it most certainly is TALLEDEGA! My family of 4( 2 girls 15 & 19) have been to Talledega for the past 6 years. We have also been to Kentucky and Charlotte, but Talledega is by far our favorite. We travel via motorhome and are lucky enough to have gotten with a group that has had the same 15 camp-spaces for 30 years, putting us very close to the track. First, let me say if you’ve never been, make it a bucket list, even if you just drive in for the day. Educate yourself on a few of the drivers, buy their t-shirt, get a radio scanner (or at least ear plugs), and enjoy the show. Be aware that it is costly. While the camping spaces are $80 for a week (dry camping & no electricity), the tickets for the Sunday race are around $125 ea for the good seats. We recommend OV Hill North for the best view. Saturday tickets run$50-60 each, but we noticed scalpers selling them for $20. YOU CAN BRING COOLERS FULL OF BEER OR FOOD INTO THE TRACK- check for size restrictions. Do not however, bring any metal or glass containers, including aerosol sunscreen, as I’ve lost some $11 bottles. You can bring beer cans. The walk into the track can be difficult for handicapped. There are ADA vehicles that transport you to the track, but I do not know the details of how to get in touch with them. Be aware that the cars are VERY loud, and some fans can get rowdy. The campgrounds also get VERY Smokey at night because everyone has a campfire going. We don’t camp, so much as glamp, so we carry an air filter. You might also get stuck next to a loud karaoke group, that might sing all night (the earplugs for the track work for this as well). There are pump out trucks, water trucks, and porta potties available for the tent campers. For the most part the fans are super friendly and polite, after all, their goals are the same....eat, drink, & be merry! Like I said.... bucket list folks!

Family outing to the fall race for the CUP playoff. Great track to visit and cannot believe how large it is. The museum is second to none. The following weekend I did the NASCAR experience and still talk about it.

Fairly easy to see most of the track from just about anywhere in the stands - infield is best! Great race, every time we've been.
