Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of the Winds. What a lovely structure! With 900+ small windows, it is covered with intricate latticework that acted as a screen for the royal ladies to observe the activities on the street below without being seen. The many windows allowed the air to flow through making it a very pleasant area for the ladies especially during the hotter seasons.
Note that this structure is right next to other shops and there is no where to park. In order to get a full picture of the building, you’ll need to cross the very busy street (at your own risk!!!) to get a better viewpoint.
