This hotel is located in a perfect location where Zoo, Palace and the Chamundeshwari hill temple are easily reachable. Quality of rooms are really good and the check-in and check out procedures were too smooth for me. Staffs were polite and reachable all the time. We have chosen an interlinked room which was really a good option for a family trip. Overall quality is very good and am sure i will visit again.

When in mysore the city of palaces you just need to think once to make your stay comfortable with family , very
neatly poised with the entry to the lobby attracted by the broad smile of the door man drives you out of the fatigueness & the quench of the welcome drink which keeps you away from the long drive to quench the thirst & just plan to enjoy your stay with facilities provided at every nook & corner of the , lavish spread be it for
breakfast,lunch, dinner & the ethnic pub the road with the beautiful discotheque which make you feel dance to the scintillating music played by the in house DJ, especially on saturdays only for couples & think beautiful swimming pool open to the blue sky where you can beat the heat & also the unique spa where you can rejuvenate your mind body & soul & finally you can end the day before retiring to bed with the drink of your choice. Whenever in Mysore it will be in Hotel Sandesh The Prince in Mysore.

I was pleasantly surprised by the courteous staff always available on the floor at the reception and always greeting and volunteering to help! The complementary breakfast was fresh and tasty with most of the items coming from south of India with few more items like Parathas and breads/cereals.
Safe and pleasant place in the centre of the city. Very well maintained rooms and amenities like swimming pool.

Not value for me. There is only Sandesh and no prince really associated with this hotel. They charge you for luxury but you don't find luxury anywhere in the rooms. The bed lenin, sofa covers, and even the menu book is not changed after the hotel was established.
If you prefer to stay in a luxury hotel and you are ready to pay more for it then, Sandesh the Prince should NOT be your choice. You will get much more spacious and clean rooms in other hotels for the same price. We had a good experience with PAI VISTA last time. This time we preferred a luxury hotel and made a wrong choice.
Buffet Breakfast is good and it has everything that a south indian household would cook for breakfast and average continental stuff. What is surprising is that they don't have a live counter for Dosa's. Well, this being a luxury hotel in Mysore we would expect a live counter to savour mysore masala dosa. The lazy staff at the restaurant discourage you by saying Masala dosa will take time and onion dosa is there in the breakfast buffet.
Overall not value for money, but if you stay for 2 or 3 days you will get used to the ambience and forget about the missing luxury for the extra money you paid.

We have different categories of room starting from Superior to Suites. We see that you have been designated the room that you have chosen, while booking your stay with us. Our front desk team also clarifies the same. However, we are quite saddened to note that you had a less than exemplary experience at your hotel. Kindly accept our sincerest apologies for all the shortcomings. Our most important priority is to exceed the expectations of our guests and it hurts us every time we fail to do so.
While we are glad to hear you enjoyed our Buffet Breakfast. We are showcasing lavish breakfast buffet spread which includes 3 fresh juices & fresh fruit platter, 7 types of bakery baskets continental spread, both North Indian & South Indians delicacies with live counter for Dosa's and Egg omelettes. Also our chef's go an extra mile to meet all the guest needs. The Mysore Masala Dosa which we serve indeed takes a little time, to retain the the authenticity of taste and quality. Howbeit, we see that our team at the restaurant did not deny serving the Masala Dosa's. We are indeed proud of our upkeep of the hotel and every time a rare feedback like this reaches us, we not only attend to it immediately but also dig deeper to ensure that our rooms , food and its services remain free of errors.

Found room was small but clean and well furnished. Food tasted very bland.
ordered soup (came cold ). All the ordered food came together (soup, started , main course). Everything had salt but tasteless otherwise
