I knew this used to be a Aman hotel before staying there, but I still wasn't prepared for such a wonderful property! It's an immense property, and the rooms were incredibly spacious for city rooms. Naturally, having the private plunge pool is a delightful bonus, but there's so much more that makes the property special. To begin, everyone was so kind! Especially the charming young woman who checked us in as bleary-eyed travelers in the wee hours of the morning. Her professionalism immediately put us at ease and we quickly put aside our tiredness so we could enjoy our suite before retiring for the night. In the morning, the staff went out of their way to serve us breakfast after hours, find us an adapter, charge our phones, and provided us with a grand tour of the premises. It's all there, they have it all including tennis courts! I'll be honest, we stayed there by default since it was kindly arranged by Vana Resorts as a stopover before traveling to Dehradun to stay at their resort. Thank you Vana, it was an excellent choice! Now, we look forward to staying at the Lodhi during our next visit to Delhi both before and after we stay at Vana.

This beautiful property was formerly an Aman hotel, and it still has that 'zen' feeling about it. I stayed in a beautiful suite with a plunge pool that overlooked parts of the property, the pool, and on out over the gardens. huge room, but still very cozy and comfortable. One highlight of this place is the manager, Robyn, who actually co-manages with her husband. She makes you feel as if you're staying in her home, and the staff at the hotel totally follow-suit. Very different experience when comparing this hotel to other palatial properties in Delhi.

Built to be an Aman hotel, this hotel helps you hide away from the chaos of Delhi with private swimming pools in your room, and great spa and green areas its a great hotel to get away from it. Huge in scale but with just a few rooms its great value too!

On arrival at the airport, relieved to be met and guided through immigration by one of the Lodhi staff, then guided to the hotel car, absolutely painless, with the same service back to the airport by Mr Sharma. The hotel is an oasis, our was modern, spacious room with a private plunge pool. The room had a seating area complete with fresh fruit and home made fudge.Choice of restaurants , extensive wine list ,with delicious food. The hotel has relatively few rooms, this being an advantage, since the staff absolutely spoil you with their friendly efficient service. As far as we are concerned we would stay at The Lodhi rather than the larger international hotels.

Room Tip: Not much more to add, we stayed there on three separate occasions and had equally good experiences e...

Amazing hotel with plunge pools in the rooms. A quiet understated elegance and extremely friendly staff. The spa, especially the stretch massage is spectacular just after a long flight or just before heading home. Usually I find that hotel food isn't up to snuff, but with the Lodhi I was pleasantly surprised both by the quality and attention to detail. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants their own little piece of paradise in bustling Delhi!

Room Tip: Low third floor numbers are great rooms

Previously the Aman New Delhi, The Lodhi opened 1 February 2013 as a boutique city property reflecting all the values of an Aman resort with a dynamic, new interpretation of simple and easy luxury. Centrally located on nearly seven acres on the "green" edge of Lutyens or Imperial Delhi and across the road from the Delhi Golf Course, The Lodhi offers a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere in the restaurants, courtyards and public areas but also the seclusion, peace and club- like atmosphere of the seven floors of guest accommodation. Located close to the Lodhi Gardens with old trees and beautifully designed and built tombs dating from the Lodhi era (1451 to 1526), The Lodhi is 10 minutes from the center of New Delhi (Connaught Place), some 40 minutes from the International Airport and close to many neighborhood shopping precincts. There are several food and beverage outlets in The Lodhi. All rooms and suites were extensively renovated in 2012.
