first i would like to thank mr. Shazli and our desert guides for their professionalism about sticking to the pre-determined schedule and activities.
we have asked for a private hiking tour in the Colored Canyon and Wadi el Wehswash, it was a never to forget tour during which me and my kids we were not just walking among the mountains but a lot of time short climbing, crawling, jumping and rope climbing to reach our destinations.
the guides Mr. Tarek and Mr. Ooda both have done an extreme effort to give us the chance to reach the lagoon of Wadi El Weshwash as at the last part was full of dirty deep water to cross however they success to let us cross.
to be noted that this trip was scheduled to start at 5 am ( pick up from sharm el sheikh) till 7 pm (drop back at sharm) for egyptians and foreigners should carry with them IDs or passports. for foreigners few days prior arrangement is required because of routine permission. The road and locations are more than safe and secured, no worries at all.

Thank mohamed s

We really enjoyed our trip to Cairo it was the highlight of our stay in Egypt. We were picked from our hotel at 5 am. It took two hours to pass to airport security due to the long queues but we made it to Cairo just before 9 am. We were met by the lovely Fatma. We were first driven to the Egyptian Museum, Fatma demonstrated great knowledge in Egyptology, as we had limited time Fatma showed us highlights of some of the monuments. There is so much to see you need at least a full day to fully see everything in the Museum!

The day was great we did exactly as Shazly told us we would do. The only thing we wished was we spent more time at the Pyramids and the Sphinx and less time at the papyrus factory and the perfume oil shop, felt like it was a sales pitch. We were also hustled at the Pyramids to get on a camel or horse carriage to experience the view at an extortionate rate, we were told that we get 35 minutes but we only 10 minutes.

We would recommend this company and would use them again. However just be careful not to get into the trap of spending extortionate amount of money during the sales pitch. Fatma was lovely she really looked after us and made our trip so much fun.

We booked our day trip from Sharm to Cairo online from the UK. We got confirmation right away and Sharm Touring stayed in touch in the run up to our arrival in Egypt, The pick up (at 4.40am) went smoothly and we arrived at Sharm domestic terminal in good time. We did not allow the rep to take our passport to get our required visas, my husband went himself, and there fore did not pay over the visa cost! We were somewhat surprised to be able to take our breakfast boxes on the flight with us, but carried them on regardless! We were duly met at Cairo airport by our guide for the day; Fatma. Having read reviews to choose Sharm Touring in the first place, we were more than happy to find out we had Fatma for the day, we had read so many glowing reviews about her. She is 'lovely' and we were her 'lovelies' for the day! Fatma is some way through her (2nd) Egyptology Degree and wonderfully knowledgeable on the subject, her enthusiasm for her chosen subject flows with every word. We were driven into Cairo being told about landmarks and important buildings and areas as we went, all of which was very interesting, The Cairo Museum was our first main stop, and Fatma gave us the most wonderful potted highlight tour with just enough information to engage without being overwhelmed. We spent around 2 and a half hours in the museum but it only felt like half an hour! We would have been happy to spend all day in there with Fatma telling us all about the exhibits but we had to move on. After a boat ride down the Nile we enjoyed lunch by the river then off to Giza. We stopped into a government run Papyrus shop where we were able make payment for our trip as this had not been taken by then, and bought a beautiful Papyrus scroll depicting the story of how a dead person makes it to the afterlife, fascinating! Then it was time for the 'high-light' of the day, the Pyramids. Again Fatma gave us background information and also kept us safe and away from the hawkers. We opted to pay for a camel ride out into the desert so we could get the perfect photo of all 9 pyramids together. As Fatma told us, it is safe to take the ride as these were run by government approved people. Wow! Camels are bloody tall!! We then went round the Sphinx, having had Fatma tell us the safe way to pass the hawkers and get in for a look. With our day running out, we made one last stop into an oils shop where we were shown different oils and how many big name perfumes and men's colognes are made. I got to try glass blowing which was very fun and we purchased oils which were securely boxed for us to take home. (and they did make it back to the UK in tact and we are enjoying the lovely scents.) On our drive back to Cairo airport we were caught up in very heavy traffic but Fatma kept in touch with the airport and kept us up to date that all flights had been delayed until all passengers were booked in. We arrived safely back in Sharm and were transported back to our resort, totally exhausted from a very long day but buzzing with all the memories we had made.
If anyone is going to Sharm anymore after the terrorist attack on the Russian Metro Jet, we would highly recommend Sharm Touring to take good care of you.

We have just come back from a week holiday in Sharm and did two trips with Sarm Touring.

We were picked up at our hotel at 4am to go to the airport on both occasions as we were flying to both Cairo and Luxor on two separate days. On arrival to the airport we were given vouchers to get our flight tickets and then it is just the normal check in and security process as with any airport (although security in sharm is not even close to being as tight as in any european country). There is a small lounge for domestic flights where you wait and the transfers take about an hour to Cairo and 45 minutes to Luxor.

On arrival to Cairo we were met by our guide Fatma who speaks very good english and is quite knowledgeable about egyptian history and explains things to you in quite a lot of detail. You get to visit the Egytian Museum, take a boat tour along the Nile, have a buffet lunch overlooking the Nile and then you visit the Pyramids and the Sphynx in the afternoon.
Although this was quite an interesting visit, there are also some components that could be avoided though. We were taken to a papyrus museum where you learn how payrus are made and then you are persuaded (the good egyptian way) to buy a piece of their art at the most negociable price you can get. Also, by the end of the day, we were taken to a bazaar and a perfume and natural oils shop, with the same purpose of basically being persuaded to buy something you probably don't even want.
Although I know people need to make a living and tour companies are just trying to help these sellers by taking tourists to them, when you paid for a tour, being "forced" to buy things you don't want or need can be a bit unpleasant. Obviously you only buy it if you want, but I can guarantee you will be pushed to do so until you leave the shop and I found this a bit uncomfortable. Also, considering the time the tour takes by itself to visit the historical spots and being stuck in Cairo's mad traffic, the visit to these shopping places makes the day even more exhausting, so be prepared for a VERY LOOOOONG DAY!!!!

On arriva to Luxor we were met by Ahmed, our guide, who is also an egyptologist and jornalist who took us and gave us very good explanations about the Temple of Hatchepsuit, the Valley of the Kings, the tombs of the pharaos, the Collosseo of Memnon and the Karnak Temple. As well as in any other place in Egypt, make sure you tke your water with you to Luxor, you'll definately need it as the heat is intense and you spend long hours in the sun.
As well as with the Cairo trip we were taken to a shop to buy hand made decorative pices made from rocks, but this ws the only place we went to that was "not necessarily part of the trip".
At the end of the day, Ahmed took us to a local coffee shop he goes to with his friends which was a good place to hang out and chat while we waited for the time to go to the airport and where I had the best guava juice in my entire life. Quite cheap too.

On both occasions, we were then taken to the airport at the end of the tour and checked in at the counter (they'll be waiting for you already). You just need to give them your passport and they'll give you the ticket, but if you keep the ticket from the morning flight this process will be even quicker, so remember this. On arrival to Sharm, your bus will be waiting for you and the transfers to the hotel went very smoothly.

Despite the minor issues, both trips were quite interesting and everyone very professional. Cairo is good because you can't go to Egypt and not visit the pyramids, whilst Luxor will give you the true insight on ancient egyptian civilization if this is something you're interested in. However, as I've said, the shopping areas are unnecessary, so not a total five star rating.

As for Fatma and Ahmed, if you read this, thank you for everything you've done for us and for keeping us entertained.
Fatma, good luck with your masters degree and your future PhD, I'm sure you'll do well.
Ahmed, your english is definately good and sorry we didn't ask many questions, but I guarantee we could understand you and were not asleep while you were talking to us. Hope the jornalism career gets easier in Egypt, so you can carry on with your job.

Big hugs from the portuguese, Bianca and Ricardo.
All the best ;)

Thank Bianca C

We chose Sharm touring for a day trip to Cairo by plane they collected us from hotel on time and took us to the airport every thing went very smoothly and Fatima met us at Cairo airport and then to the bus were we meet Bob our driver the pair of them are like a comedy act and made the day pass very quickly. Fatima is a very knowledgeable lady and full off great facts about the city and especially the museum. This lady she has a wonderful sense of humor and every know and again to make sure we were paying attention she would do a pop quiz which was great fun.She was always willing to answer any of our questions and made sure we were enjoying our trip and i must say it was a real pleasure spending time in her company and she helped make this trip very special for us.
we werent really interested in the perfume shopping etc and we would have loved more time at the actual pyramids but we understand that this is part of the
package.
it's well worth the trip too see these amazing sights a long day travelling we left hotel around 4 am we didn't arrive back until 10 pm so be prepared for a lot off hanging around its worth it and this company definitely offer the best price with the best rep.
Special thanks to Fatima who made our day
