We were recommended this hotel for breakfast by our accommodation host and we weren't disappointed. 1st came the bread, home made jam, yogurt and muesli, then came the fresh fruit and home made cake. Then the scrambled eggs, local cheese and salad. I had a green tea and my husband had coffee. The walled garden we are in was lovely, as were the staff. I highly recommend.
We arrived at the port with our luggage and were met by Natalija. She is the most wonderful person! It was a short walk to Villa Nora. There is no elevator so she helped us with our luggage up the steps. Our room was on one of the top floors. It was a family room so it was large. We had a nice sitting area, 3 single beds and one king in the bedroom. 2 bathrooms was a huge plus. The location of the hotel is perfect- everything is walking distance. The bed was so comfortable, the shower pressure was fantastic, the air conditioning was great- and we were there during a heatwave so it was needed. Breakfast in the morning is served on their patio and they offer a beautiful bowl of fruit, a cake or pancake, yogurt, breads, cheeses and meats and homemade marmalade. We had a wonderful time at Villa Nora.
Excellent stay at Villa Nora Hvar!! beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great & friendly staff; Everyone was absolutely most helpful and warm. Everything about the hotel was exceptional, comfortable specious well-equipped rooms . The hotel is sparkling clean ! Delicious breakfast with fresh local ingredients and homemade baked goods and marmalades.
Best lactation; within minutes' walk to all sightseeing, shops and restaurants. I was very pleased with our stay.

Villa Nora is a small hotel in the old town of Hvar, run by two sisters, Natalia and Rosa. They are excellent hosts, serve the most delicious fresh breakfast in their courtyard, and from the moment they greeted us at the ferry terminal we felt welcome. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. Location in the old town is beautiful with restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep.
Our room had a balcony, small but plant filled and excellent for sitting out and feeling the vibes of being in old Hvar.
Highly recommend.
Small points to note - Hvar is clearly a busy town and although small, it attracts a party crowd who can be noisy at night. Being right in the old town means you can hear this sometimes. Also, the daily room cleaning service lacked a little finesse. Neither of these points changed our view of Villa Nora and we would happily return and recommend.
Lovely small hotel in centre of Hvar Old Town. Huge airy room in charming and characterful old building. Staff very helpful and friendly. Natalja the Manager met us off the ferry. Wonderful breakfast brought to your table in a pretty courtyard. The homemade jam was divine. Highly recommended.
