Lovely hotel, great service, beautifully appointed. We stayed here on our way to the Anavilhanas lodge and it was a great stopover. Breakfast was lovely as well. Only areas for improvement would be speed of reply to emails regarding the booking and creating an ability to have 4 people in 1 room instead of needing 2 rooms.
Excellent hotel in Manaus, perfect base to settle down before embarking on amazone jungle trips.
Nice swimming pool providing shelter during hot afternoons and a cozy bar area reminiscent of Manaus’ time at the height of the rubber industry. Close by the not-to-be-missed theatre.
Excellent breakfast with local delicacies, and a lunch/diner menu available in an enjoyable restaurant setting.
All staff putting in extra effort to speak English. A special mention for Maven, lady at the reception who put in all efforts to help us out with a check-in issue with a local airline. Obrigado!
If this is the best property in Manaus, I wonder how bad is the second one???
Requests are not attended to. Rooms are motel like, Tired bathrooms, cost-savings all around the property. Do no let the web page fool you, it is just a basic hotel.

We stayed at this hotel overnight (twice)...both before we traveled to their other property (the Anavilhanas lodge) and after we returned. Location is lovely. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was lovely. Staff was lovely. If you are going to the Anavilhanas lodge (and many of the guests were)...this is the most convenient and lovely place to stay in Manaus.
The staff was the icing on the cake. The property was beautiful with foliage throughout especially on the first floor rooms, giving the atmosphere of the Amazon forest even before we got onto our boat. Coffee machine, water bottles and serene environment were all appreciated. Breakfast was also efficient and hearty with select choices from the menu, cooked to order.
