Odd Duck had been on my list for a while and we finally made it out to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant has a lively ambiance, great service, and delicious food. However, I am quite disappointed with the quantity of food offered in each plate.
Ok granted that most items on the menu are "small plates", but even small plates need to have more than 2-3 tablespoon-fulls of food on them!
My wife and I had a couple of drinks, tried the Toasted country loaf (baked fresh), redfish ceviche, roasted beets, and the grilled quail entree ($21, see photo to get an idea of the portion size). Out of these items, the ceviche and the quail are delicious!
While the total bill was around $100, we were no where near full, and had to stop at our favorite Ramen place on our way back home.
The chicken fried fish head (at market price) looked amazing but we did not try it.
The hotel has valet parking, and i recommend that you make a reservation in advance.
