Well where to begin..this place was fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were met with friendly faces who could not do enough for us.
Mila and Julia our hosts were fantastic. Always checking in and booking trips and experiences for us.
Rahul the chef was phenomenal..made sure everything we ate was to our taste. Made suggestions of new things to try and went out of his way to prepare certain dishes for us.
Rachelle and Krishna in Ylang ylang were superb! Always smiling and making sure our glasses were topped up. As was Maya from the swing bar..all 3 of these ladies were very friendly and all were lovely to chat to and find out a bit more about them and their culture.
All the staff on the snorkelling and fishing trips were also great. Full of knowledge and helpful.
Finally, the Elena Spa was a fabulous addition to our trip. We had 3 visits included in our package and WOW. We left feeling soo relaxed and chilled..special thanks to our therapists Jen and Engi- they were great! Best massage I have ever had!!!

Our stay at Lobi Gili has been perfect. All of the staff here are very welcoming, they always say hello and we have had many interesting conversations with several of them. They have made us feel like VIP’s during our holiday. Having a single point of contact for the duration of our stay is fantastic - Lisa (& Kate) did an amazing job.
Maybe an online picture gallery with faces and names of all staff would be useful for guests when trying to remember names of particular staff when we want to thank them in a review.
The food is incredible with an amazing variety. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation is superb. The layout of Ylang Ylang is perfect with a choice of dining areas - the staff always try to accommodate our seating requests.
The excursions with the boat crew were always fun - the staff made sure that we were safe and that we had maximum enjoyment. We also appreciated the choice of things to do such as snorkelling, paddle boarding and kayaking.
The complimentary massage at the spa was fantastic and we were happy to upgrade to an hour session.
Our room (104) was so comfortable with a perfect layout both inside and out. The private pool had plenty of shade from the trees and we enjoyed being able to shower outside in the amazing bathroom area. Housekeeping did an amazing job - very discreet, thorough and efficient.
The landscape team obviously work hard to ensure the island always looks immaculate.
Only Blu was probably the best dining experience we have ever had with incredible staff, food and service in a unique setting. Truly unforgettable!
Swing Bar and pool area were a great place to chill and for evening cocktails. The loungers are very comfortable and the pool has an amazing view. The staff there are very attentive and lots of fun.
The gym is in an amazing location, very well equipped and the staff very helpful. Cold towels from the fridge are a nice touch.
Overall a truly amazing place to stay and we will definitely be back again next year! Thank you to everyone at Lobi Gili.

It's a 5-star resort with 7-star staff - Oblu Select Lobigilli has the best, was attentive, professional and well-trained staff that my wife and I have ever experienced in all our travels. It is fair to say that the staff make this hotel and anyone who visits will just be amazed.
Patrice was our butler for our holiday and she, quite honestly, could not do anything more for us. She has a personality that is both friendly and professional. Perfect!
The island is small, but the facilities were excellent - the Ylang Ylang restaurant served great food every day from breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The chefs produced such quality food, catering for everyone's taste and if you could not find anything that you wanted (difficult to believe) they would prepare something else. You cannot fail to enjoy the food experience, including the underwater restaurant which was amazing BUT when it is supported by the fantastic staff, life could not get much better! Rubina, Krishna, Merina, Novita, the incredible chefs (Indian yum yum) the juice man our list of staff members to thank is so long.
The bar was perfect, good atmosphere, drinks excellent, again brilliant staff, who took time to speak with you, have a laugh and made you feel special. Sally, Cris, Julia et all brilliant!
Our experience at Lobigilli will be remembered forever - its the most fantastic hotel supported by incredible staff, who make this resort a tropical gem. Thank you and we will be back.
