We booked the Manhattan Business Hotel for a layover between our international flight and domestic flight the next day.

After booking, the staff was quick to respond for our airport pickup and drop off times.

After arriving they had no issue waiting for us while we dealt with the airline after they lost our bags. The airport transfer was prompt, private and included. The WIFI also worked well.

The hotel only has two floors of rooms with the lobby on the first floor. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning worked very well. We were there on the first night of Ramadan so things around were closed but we were able to find food easily once the sun set.

Just to note, they were unable to accommodate my late check out, even after I offered to pay.

Overall a good stay and I would definitely consider it when in the area again.

As me and my wife came to the hotel for our wedding party preparations, the hotel welcomed from the start till the very end. Got a FOC suite upgrade due to non availability and it was perfect. The view from the upstairs was great from the main city. Food for iftar which we recieved was tasty and didn’t expect to be ready in the room. Thank you for every bit of service provided. Highly recommend for such occasions and all occasions to this place from the main city.

We spent a night here on our way to a Maldivian resort island when our international flight arrived late one evening and we couldn’t catch our sea plane until the next day. The rooms were clean, air conditioning cold and staff friendly. The complementary airport transfers and buffet breakfast were an added bonus.

My husband and I decided to choose Manhattan business hotel, after we consulted the website, and we were very amazed by the rooms, we decide to stay in the presedential suite, which was amazing except the bathroom that was very very small, comparing to the suite, once we arrived, there was no luggage service, we took our luggage ourselves to our suite, after that I realized that no fruit basket was placed, the weight machine is not working properly, no bathrobes, when we requested for bathrobes we got only one, and we were informed by the reception that the hotel is running out of robes and the hotel provides it just when the guest request it.
The breakfast in the morning in the buffet was catastrophic and doesn't look like it belongs to a hotel, I was thinking I am in a fast food restaurants or an all inclusive hotel, not organized at all, and the buffet is very poor.
We requested for room cleaning service twice and no body came, we have been waiting for so long around 1h then I decided to skip it for the morning, when I have informed the reception, a receptionist lady, interrupted me before I finish talking trying to explain to me what happened, which was very unprofessional and shows that she doesn't have listening skills anymore.
The other day, we decided to have breakfast in the room, I called the reception and someone told me that they will need to connect me with the chef to make the order, I had to wait for like 10min, then someone knocked in our door, even though the DND button was ON, asking if we want maldivian or continental breakfast. We have informed that we need to talk with someone to make our order in details because we want specific things for breakfast.
Then my husband gave the order written on the phone, and the lady took a picture of it.
I have done 3 massages in the suite which were very good, and I loved how professional the therapists are.
My husband tried to send 3 or 4 pieces to the Laundry, then he have been informed that it takes around 2 or 3 days to be ready!! Then when he asked about express service, he was informed that they can only get back to us in the next days!!! I have never seen this anywhere!!
In the last day I have called the reception around 14:00 if we can get our towels changed and mini bar refilled, and before finishing the first sentence the lady was trying to end the call even though I still didn't finish what I want to say, and didn't bother to ask if we need anything else, the reception service is very poor, the staff are not well trained and they don't know how to deal with the guests or use formal phrases.
Then after complaining to the manager, we got the Laundry on the last day, and we got the fruit basket as well, we asked for a late checkout at 19:30, at first we were informed that it's fully chargeble after 15:00 but then the manager gave it complimentary to us until 19:30. Which we were thankful for it.
No luggage service in the checkout as well, no one came to our room to pick up our luggage at 19:30 we took it ourselves, we went for check out, we were invited to sit in the lobby and wait for our invoice, we waited for 45min, I sent a message to the manager, but no response at all, we have been planning to do some shopping since we have to be in the airport at 09:00pm but we only finished the checkout from 19:30 until 20:15 and I am sure if we didn't go to the reception and insisted we would be still there and we will miss our flight.
We haven't done shopping at all, a d we had to rush to the airport, which was a bit stressing for us.
To sum up, the hotel is beautiful, but the service is extremely poor, we travel and visit so many hotels and resorts in Maldives and around the world, but the way we were treated wasn't fair, and we were so unhappy during our stay, especially I personally left a message to the manager on WhatsApp before we came that we want everything to be well arranged.
Unfortunately, apart the Spa, our stay wasn't what we expected.

Room tip: Bathroom is very small, no luggage service, chack out can take up to 45min, you might miss your flight!!
