We have lots of dim sum like xiu long bao, gyoza, watercress dumplings, chives and pork dumplings. All made from very chunky pastry. Thickest in Kuala Lumpur.

Worst part is all Xiu Long Bao (we have 2 baskets) , they serve it all sticking to each other. All tear and leak when we pick them up. Those are Chef recommendation on menu. The rest goes downhill if that was their specialty.

Love duck sticky rice in lotus leaf and chef special fry radish cake. Gorgeous!

The rest of the dim sum? Not Hong Kong standard at all. Xin Cuisine Concorde Hotel serves better dim sum.

Chef and his team prepared the food in-house. Always making sure food served are the best quality and standard. Dim sums, ala carte and special dishes are served daily. One can’t go wrong with their choices. Staff courteous and helpful.

We were a table of 8 for lunch to try their apparently famous 腊味饭 or waxed meat rice and dimsum.. The dimsum was ok but nothing to write home about. The waxed meat rice was without any fragrant aroma and the amount of sausage, duck and meat were so minimal. The lunch cost us a little over RM90 a person. First and Last time - disappointing experience!

Elegant Inn offers a 90% 70's Hong Kong style Chinese restaurant, with dim sums for lunch and excellent dishes for dinner.
They provide good soups, good steamed fishes, and good Fried Wok dishes.
Taste excellent, and environment good for families, and friends' gathering.

Very good Cantonese food with some unusual dishes available on this menu. They also have some special dishes at certain times of the year to coincide with Chinese festivals.
We went with a gang for dim sum lunch primarily but we also enjoyed a special soup and some delightful prawn noodles. Plus something we had never had before - iced vegetables which basically were fresh, chilled green leaf veggies with a light tangy sauce - they were delightful.
Can't go wrong here - it is an elegant atmosphere and provides elegant Cantonese food. Prices do reflect the quality and the elegance.
