Orginal plan was to be here when it is 1st open but due unexpected delayed, we opted to visit in the late afternoon to avoid the crowds and better lighting for photo ops.
As we arrived, we can see 10-12 buses are leaving so we were happed. The lighting were just right. We did not go to the top just because too crowded and people fighting for positions for photos.
- No need to stay here more than 2 hours in my opinion.

The castle was outstanding. Such a good walk in the park. A must see place if you arein osaka. Walk away from the train station. We missed the cherry blossom but it was still a fun and amazing place to visit.

Me and my partner went to Osaka castle, and we both think this place is a great historical site. From the castle itself, you may go up to the top floor and see the beautiful Osaka surrounding. Once we finished the top floor, there is floor by floor exhibition about the history of this castle. You may borrow a guide audio form the ground floor information desk - very great experiences.

Very beautiful park during Cherry blossom seasons. Bring your mats to enjoy and picnic with your friends.

There is a free guide on the outside of the castle that will walk around with you and both explain the castle history as well as answer your questions. Once inside the castle take the time to get a head set and go directly to the top and work your way down. Everything seems to be set up for this direction. There was a lot of information so be prepared and plan enough time for your day here.
