A well kept area, very clean and nicely prepared. It was very busy but the area is so big you hardly notice.A quiet seat is possible.

The park is beautiful and it is free to walk around. I think you can actually spend a lot of time and get all of the history rather than going into the actual museum. A Few just stops are the children’s Peace Memorial and the incredible story of a little girl that got leukemia from the radiation exposure, the Peace bell that you can walk up and run, and the eternal burning flame. Glad I made the trip, very sad and emotional.

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park provides a wonderful space to contemplate what took place here in 1945, and to imagine a future without nuclear weapons.

Not a big park by any measure. It's a short 20mins walk to cover the main sights. The main sight is the Centaph. Not remarkable to me for such a place to make a historic event.

This is a huge park built in memory of the Hiroshima bomb. You can find the Peace Museum, Hiroshima Dome, Peace Bell, and the Flame of Peace among many other things in here. The actual epicenter of the explosion is actually outside of the park between two buildings on a street right next to the park. The marker is quite small and easy to miss. You'll be able to spend lots of time in here exploring the various sites or simply taking a peaceful stroll. You can also take a boat from the park to Miyajima where the giant Torii gate is albeit at a more expensive price than if you simply take the trolley to the ocean's edge and then take a ferry from there.
