The rooms are large, very clean & we had 2 large beds. The shower is large in size with very strong hot & cold water supply.

Room amenities include toiletries, slippers, kettle, teabags, fridge, safe & hair dryer.

There is an extensive Breakfast choice of congee, vegetables, bacon, noodles, Egg Station, fruits, salads & desserts. It was mainly Chinese meal items, but of good standard & variety.

The best thing was not having to jostle & push with large tourist groups for the breakfast buffet.

I gave been in the hotel for 3 nights along business trip. This is very luxury hotel. Rooms are very well equipped and give you the feeling that this is five star hotel. The only problem I faced is that the air condition was very efficient in coiling the room. Breakfast and dinner were good, the only point to improve, is to have coffee.

This is a very well appointed hotel, with a good dining room. The breakfasts were really quite copious, the only downside being a horrible sweet milky coffee, but black coffee was brought out on our second day at our request. We found all the staff to be very friendly and accommodating
The room was well equipped, and clean and comfortable.
We would stay here again.

Staff knows very very minimal English. The rooms claim to have wifi but it was unreachable. The room have a huge wall covering behind the bed; a very uncomfortable feeling. The bed were hard as a rock and the room had Mosquitos. The bathtub had mildew everywhere and cracking wall. Horrible stay.

I stayed here two nights while attending a conference at a nearby venue. The hotel is located in the northern suburbs of Kunming, just under an hour's drive from the international airport.

The rooms are very well appointed, roomy with beautiful fittings and coverings. There is a large bed with hard mattress, a sofa, work desk and even a PC with ethernet connection! You can unplug and plug in your laptop. Wi-fi works in some rooms and in the lobby but is spotty. The bathroom has a large shower recess and a bathtub, again with nice fittings and tiles. The hotel is located on a busy intersection but the heavy curtains block out most of the traffic hum at night.

There is an extensive breakfast buffet that spans two sides of the front end of the restaurant. This includes noodle bar, other Asian dishes, pastries, juices and coffee. There is tea shop that also sells cool drinks across the road. A Walmart store with full grocery is a short taxi ride away (13RMB or USD2). In the area are several Chinese hotpot restaurants that have been reviewed on tripadvisor.com

Service was friendly and some of the concierge staff speak some English. There is a foreign currency exchange desk where you can buy Chinese currency but not sell it. To buy foreign currency you'll need to go to the Transforex booth inside the international terminal at the airport, past the immigration point. They charge 60RMB commission for the first transaction and all subsequent transactions are commission free if you can produce and show them the receipt for your first transaction.

Overall a good choice for the business traveler if your appointments are in this section of the city.
