In terms of boutique shops, fancy restaurants, and art shows, this is where you want to be. Always something going on and in the heart of Vladivostok.

Svetlanskaya Street is the city's main street. It has many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, it was dead when I walked down it because of the torrential rain. I can imagine, however, that it is packed with locals during the evenings and weekends with nice weather.

Other reviewers mentioned the traffic fumes but I usually live in London so didn't find the fumes too bad. It's an interesting street with a mixture of interesting old and some new buildings. Loads of banks and clothes shops. The main square then the Arseniev museum just past the square. GUM department store and loads of restaurants. There's a nice little shady park by Gorky theatre and across the road is another shady park above the Submarine museum.

The street provides a wide variety of different shops, and restaurants, which is located next to the harbour/sea front. Worth going to see.
