“Seals & pelicans up close”

The half day tour was an enjoyable & leisurely way to see Walvis Bay. The catamaran trip included some close encounters with pelicans & seals which boarded the boat to feast on some small fish provided by the staff. It was great to see the animals up close & also see a colony of fur seals & a large Mola Mola fish that happened to be swimming around nearby. The food & champagne was a nice touch & the staff were fantastic. Probably not a cruise for thrill or adventure seekers but definitely a lovely morning out on the water.

We had a full action day with Mola Adventures and loved every bit of it. The Half day boat tour highlights were the pelicans, the seals, and seagulls. We didn't catch any dolphin sightings, but still a wonderful time on the boat. Interesting history lesson on the fishing industry there. The Sandwich Harbour tour was really fantastic! Gerhard took us on a fun and adventurous 4x4 "Mad Max'n" the dunes and sea. And absolute must tour when staying in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund.

The morning cruise is essentially a catamaran trip to seal colony. As nature is, sometimes you see dolphins and mola mola fish sometimes you do not. The staff was very chirpy and friendly and did their best to entertain and keep people interested. There are 3 pelicans that seem to more or less join the catamaran on the offset. The staff feeds the pelicans, travelers get to pet the pelicans... a bit circusy. There are some very potent drinks on offer right at the start of the trip. Shortly after the stop to photo the seal colony travelers are invited to a small finger buffet ( including oysters and some sparkling wine). For me the trip itself wasn't interesting enough. It is also a very windy affair and can be very cold. There are blankets offered if one needs them ( very smelly - could do with a good wash). (We went on the afternoon desert drive which was a lot more fun and definitely worth doing)

This was such a fun little adventure with great snacks and lovely champagne! Well worth the money and even better when paired with the 4x4 adventure afterwards. The staff were great!

We started with the dolphin cruise in the morning, and did the 4x4 sandwich harbour tour in the afternoon.

The boat trip included pelicans, seals and dolphins up close. We also got 'namibian coffee' at 10 and a delicious meal with lots of champagne and oysters.

In the afternoon, we went to sandwich harbour for some fun driving in the dunes. Again, a delicious meal and more champagne :)
