During our stay at LUX Belle Mare we ate here several times. Both for lunch and dinner.
Of the four à la carte restaurants at LUX, this is the one that is most oriented towards the European audience. On the card you'll find a nice selection of tapas, pizza, pasta and even veggie dishes. As said, we ate here several times and the menu never got boring.
If you have the pleasure of going there, you must ask for the mussels in a mild coconut soup. They are simply to die for! Also worth mentioning: the Butternut Cappucino with fig (veggie), the yellow tuna carpaccio, the Harvey's steak and the Bannanofee.
We wanted to get the most out of our All Inclusive Package so we always chose on of the Scru-Cap wines. The Scru-Cap wine is actually quite good and since there are about 11 different ones to choose from, you have enough variety.
For wine and three courses the total budget was about 5.000 MUR for two persons.
The restaurant breathes the same chill atmosphere as the rest of the hotel. The trendy white-blue interior changes at night into into a cosy white-red interior with the help of a few small accessory changes.
The stunning view on the beach (or the opportunity to dine under the stars) make this the best location to eat in the entire hotel.

In conclusion, the Beach Rouge restaurant extends the LUX experience and is definitely a must visit during your stay.
