We walked to the Clock Tower from our hotel in the evening. The lightning made it look quite beautiful. It is quite safe and lots of people were out and about.

If you cross over the road opposite the tower you can walk along the promenade by the sea.

This historic place is more beautiful at night. I've heard the history of this clock tower refers to a century ago.

You’ll see its drawing on Rakı glasses, it’s on the city’s logo everywhere. The circle where the clock tower is in has an important historic meaning.

This was a meeting point for all Izmir citizens but now it lost its charm, beauty, interest and attractiveness by real Izmir citizens. Invaded by foreign people who are not from Izmir at all. Still very historical but not beautiful as it was before.
