I stayed 5 nights at Melek Cave Hotel. It’s a cosy little place run by a family, a good clean economical option amidst the luxury cave hotels in that part of Goreme. Try to ask for a cave double room if you can, those are the best. Breakfast on the terrace is lovely, with beautiful views of Goreme, and the terrace itself is sweet, with creeping grapevines and a shady mulberry tree. The manager Ali was very helpful with our queries about Cappadocia and going to other parts of Turkey, and helped to arrange private transport for us.
