I’ll start with the good! It’s pretty and beautifully situated! The bathrooms are clean! it’s nice watching the tankers go by, but you’ll have to leave your site in most cases to do so! That’s what’s good!!!!!
The layout of the RV park is so severely lacking any common sense. We were in spot 13, right near the river, BUT, there is a huge RV in spot 12. All we can see from our picnic table is the guts of #12 setup! We have to move 30 ft. Over to see the river, and that’s only because there is no one in the spot that would definitely block our view. The sites are close together and there is no privacy!
The grass crew cut the grass Friday morning literally around us. Scaring the hell out of our pets.
Finally, some idiot stole our garbage can!

Decent sites and our you could see the river. Staff was friendly. Has 2 pools and one is a “Tiki Bar”. However both pools are the size of a hot tub. Picture 20 adults standing in a small pool. Not impressed. And we have been to numerous campgrounds and this is the only one we visited that charges for electric. And do NOT rent a boat from them. We rented a pontoon. They give you no charts of river, tell you what to avoid and just tell you to download an app on your. Also no depth gauge on the boat. Needless to say we struck ground and they charged us through the roof for the repair. Not willing at all to work with the price of the repair and the manger even said she wouldn’t rent a boat. So do not rent a boat from them! My opinion do some research and find a nicer place to stay up there.

First, we were treated with kindness by Nancy in the office. She went out of her way to answer our questions and help us make plans for the next day.
Second, Julia drove right to our campsite in the shuttle as walking a long distance was an issue. She made sure we had her cell number and was on time picking us up to return to Swans Bay. We experienced the same courtesy and punctuality from Coty the following day.
Thank you Swans Bay for providing a shuttle. What a generous service to offer campers driving a motor coach without towing a vehicle.
We also made use of the pool and enjoyed the band.
For all these reasons and more, we hope to visit your campground again soon and spread the good news to our camping friends.
Sincerely,
Sharon and Bobby

The place is wonderful, clean, large spots for our camper, very level cement pad, nice table, easy hook ups, beautiful views and close to amazing towns like Clayton and A Bay. The only thing I wish is that they would not allow political flags to fly, people come for vacation to escape...not to be reminded of the problems.

Our first time here. Extremely tight spots - we were in a premium spot. Pads are real nice and level for sure but there was no way we could even have a campfire between us and the camper next to us - totally unsafe

Tiki bar was not as big or nice as we had heard of. Pools were tiny. The waterfront area is beautiful and the gift shop great.

Close to Abay and all other fun things to do. Walk to price chopper grocery store which is nice.

For the money - little underwhelmed.
