It is one of the most beautiful wonders of natural places of interest for foreign tourists. visitors must use boots as there is a lot of walking . The park is spread over a very big mountain which needs 3-4 hours walking amongst the forest . thousands of years ago it was inhibited by the Thai ancestors and grandfathers .The big and huge rocks and what is left of ruins and graves, hiding a misterious story about ancient tribes and community of this awesome place.it is stunning and amazing worth to visit .
My trip was on February 2018 .

I spent half a day there. Place is combining the stone park that need a lot of imagination and prehistoric drawing plus a good view point. You may need about 3 hrs to finish all area which is worth to do.
Park toilet is probably one of the best public toilet in any park in Thailand.

Historical park not far from Udon downtown.better come in winter(October to February) with cool weather. It is a small forest with bizarre shape of rock. Some rock had ancient (pre historic)hand paint look like alienated UFO

It's a park area based on containing unusual rock formations with some historical significance, since there are cave drawings and such from very early inhabitants. It was nice. It covers a broad area so it can be a visit based on seeing some main parts or it could also involve some walking around. I have no idea why but the bathroom there was the cleanest and best decorated restroom I've ever seen in a public facility outside of higher end malls in Thailand. That kind of attention to detail is nice, good signage about what you will see, and where to go, with really helpful and friendly staff, along with the area and rock features also being interesting.

If walking a good bit is a problem you can arrange to have staff help shuttle you to see the areas in an electric golf cart (larger version, a bit like a tram), but some degree of walking around is required. If you have time there is a really interesting temple with similar rock features about a 10 minute drive from the park; staff there could describe where that is and how to get to it.
