Tree Roots Retreat is not just an accommodation, it is a place to rejuvenate yourself. I've been to a lot of hotels in Thailand and I can vouch that this place is truly special.

This is not one of those cookie cutter commercialized chain hotels where every room looks the same and feels boring, instead here every room the furniture and decorations are tastefully and uniquely done with a purpose. No 2 rooms are alike. It really shows the passion and thought that has been put in when designing this place.

And the abundance of activities offered here are just like no other place. Stepping into the room the first thing my 3 year old daughter did was pick up a book from the numerous books available in each room and in the impressive library. Usually my kid is restless and I would have to resort to mobile phones to calm her down but no such need here as flipping through interesting books are more than enough to keep her occupied.

If you're the kind of traveler who prefers to be in one of those boring chain hotels with hundreds of other noisy and weary occupants, then this place might not be for you. But if you're one of those who appreciate nature, the calmness and quietness of trees and books, prefer healthy activities like MMA training or exercising or just taking a dip in the pool while reading a book then this is just the perfect place for you.

This retreat really does feel like a home away from home.

The whole attachement is not maintained and getting old, the garden with old, broken furniture, the sports facilities rusty, dirty and unattractiv as the bikes, the bar unused and the breakfast poor. The good reviews may depend on friends whocstay there longer and don' t habe to pay the high price as a normal guest.

Had a lovely memorable few days at this charming hidden gem. Was a perfect getaway from the bustle of city life.  A retreat where I could rest & recharge the mind, body & soul. Each night slept deeply in the stylish comfortable ensuite room which was paired with a tranquil view of mother nature. Woke up to a home cooked yummy breakfast with fully stocked self service kitchen. Great amenities, fully equipped gym. Paired my morning Wim Hof breathe work with a an ice bath (which was prepared on request). Sending my true gratitude to Aaron & his team for creating a home from home experience.
