Everybody has a story to tell when they have great experience to share. Tree Roots is more than a retreat since you will learn so much from Aaron aka Aroon (his Thai name) and from within yourself. It is not just a place for working out, but it is everything you could have asked for. I love staying where it feels like home and Aaron creates that feeling. I even told him to get his shoes off at the pool because it is super clean. lololol All in all, I have had a great & fun weekend and special thanks to Lynnie, the Aerial instructor, for a great support, understanding and patience! Can’t wait for the next Aerial weekend.

I cannot rate the Tree Roots Retreat highly enough!!!!

There is a unique peacefulness about the place which is great to get away from all the hustle and bustle of city life!!!

The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Outside you can hear the calming sound of water flowing, as you laze on a bean bag in the glorious warmth of the sun, reading a book (of which the retreat has thousands to offer from the library).

I actually also trained (martial arts) with Aaron on a daily basis.

Training was very insightful, and a great way to learn to deal with the common pressures we face in life on a day-to-day basis.

Whilst we worked up a great sweat, the training environment was relaxed and Aaron is a fantastic instructor with a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.

Being one of the very few dog friendly retreats in the area, it's also a real haven for animal lovers, who want to just enjoy the simplicity of nature.

I have made life-long friends after only 5 days. Aaron, Crispin, and Tina, thank you. 🙏

We had a very enjoyable time in Aaron and Bim's Resort.
Beautiful, spacious rooms (very high ceilings) surround a garden.
If you like to read you have plenty of books in your room as well in Aaron's library.

Next door there's an extensive boxing gym.
This is the place where Aaron teaches his Crazy Monkey style.
Make sure you take some lessons.

Also on offer are surfing or paddle boarding when the waves are too small.
In our case it was paddle boarding.

Every morning you can have a nice breakfast with fresh fruit.

The resort is a nice 10 minute walk to the beach.
If you get to the main road, you'll see that the first part of the beach is occupied by various restaurants.
Once you pass them you get to the beachy part of the beach.

To be honest it's not the greatest beach in the world. It could use some more cleaning.
Once you're in the water it's all fine though. And you're probably the only one in the ocean

The best part of the beach are the aforementioned restaurants.
Very fresh and affordable seafood made to order, after which you can take a nap in your deckchair.

Another good thing about the location is that it's not very touristy.

All in all the Tree Roots Retreat is perfect if you look for a relaxing, yet active holiday in an environment which is not run over by tourists
