This hotel is very comfortable and relaxing to stay. Food is great! Accommodating crew and facilities are new. It is also located in town centre so going out is not a problem. They can also arrange a trustworthy taxi cab for you. If you are new to Arusha and want to stay in a hotel with no hassle, this is the place to be!

The hotel staff is very courteous and available. Wifi and a/c work well. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast is quite good. The neighborhood is a bit noisy but livable. Arusha is a typical African city that looks dusty, rough and unsafe but actually is safer than NYC, Paris or London. There are no shooting or police brutality.

We only spent one night here before our safari, but we liked it. Since our flight was delayed, we arrived at the hotel at 23.30 hrs. only. We had organized the airport transfer in advance via the hotel - worked well despite the flight delay. Also at our late arrival time they brought sandwiches & fries into our room, because we were hungry. Good service! The room & bathroom were clean, everything was fine. Breakfast buffet was delicious. We were very satisfied.

To be fair - for Tanzanian standards it's a very nice hotel, one of the best in town. In the US it would range somewhere around 3 stars. It's very clean, has a good AC and WiFi and offers nice breakfast on-site. (nice selection of eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt etc, but you may chase staff for about 30 minutes every morning to provide coffee). It also has a bar. Unfortunately some rooms are pretty noisy.
Overall it's a pretty rough and unpleasant town. I can't imagine anybody staying there for any other reason than being in transit. That also applies to the immediate surroundings of the hotel. You may step out during the day to get a taste of the local life (nothing really interesting), but you really shouldn't wonder around after dark (it gets pitch black, there is no street lights). You must be very careful walking around as there is no rules when it comes to car/pedestrian traffic, and there are holes so big a grown up person could fall in.

Room Tip: I think higher floors tend to be more quiet

Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing Venus Premier hotel for your stay while your visit to Arusha. we are happy to know that you had a memorable stay.we apologize for the coffee delay during the breakfast .We have kept a coffee maker in the buffet so that the guest can help them selves.May be the waiter would not have guided you properly & we apologize for that.
Dear sir, during your stay, almost all the rooms were full & may be there would have been a family or a group next to your room.In your next visit, please specify while check-in that you need a quite room, so that we can accommodate you in the floor where no groups are staying.
Arusha is a small town with lot of site seeing places around .Mt.Meru climbing/snake park/Maasai Market /Cultural Heritage/ Arusha National park etc & so on.If a trip is well planned, even one week will not be enough to cover all these areas.
Arusha is a safe city sir.Next time when you visit, we will help you in all possible ways to make your stay memorable.Thank you & we look forward to serve you with best of our services once again.

A good hotel to stay for one night. The hotel is in the center of the city and immediately at the door grabbing a hand by bidding to buy an icon or a bracelet from coffee beans. The hotel is clean and nice, the staff is attentive, The restaurant is nice, food is spicy a little more than I used to

Dear sir,
Thank you for choosing Venus Premier Hotel while your visit to Arusha. Thank you for your review in Trip Advisor. We are sorry about the fly catchers. Those people are harmless. They try to sell their goods to the foreigners they see, but once we show that we are not interested, they will not disturb us.About the restaurant food, we apologize for the food to be spicy. Usually the guest used to instruct the waiter whether they want spicy or non spicy. In you case, i believe the waiter would have forgot to specify that. we are sorry for that. We assure you that when you come next time, you will be more happy with our services.Thanking you once again & look forward to serve you with best of our services.
