We had a one night stay here while transiting through Arusha. We got the two room interconnected suite for a family of four. The room had a spacious living room as well. The decor inside the hotel with all the animals was very unique. The restaurant had a good selection of Indian food which was very helpful, and a nice breakfast as well. Would recommend it to people visiting Arusha.

I had a good stay at this quaint boutique hotel. I agree with all the previous positive reviews. Everyone was accommodating and friendly, special thanks to Rehema who assisted me prior to arrival. I would recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Tulip before departing for our Safari, and the hotel was wonderful. The staff was excellent and looked after us.

I've stayed in many places in Arusha, and highly recommend the African Tulip.

The food was great, the grounds were gorgeous, the rooms were clean, staff was professional and courteous. 10/10 recommend.

This was our 1st stop Tanzania. We arrived at the airport, expecting our tour director to met up; we found that our date of arrival unexpectedly was planned for the following day, so we made arrangements to transported to The Tulip. When we arrived we found that we didn’t have arrangement to stay the 1st night. The very good new is the manner in which the staff contacted our tour manager and straighten out the error and provided refreshments while the problem was being handled. The hotel (located in the down town Arusha area) proved to be Great experience with great room, food , & assistance.
