It was our first meal on landing in Sri Lanka. We had just checked in to our hotel and went for a walk in Negombo market. It was Lord Buddha s birthday and was a public holiday. Everything was shut down and closed except a few eateries. We had lunch in the heat at this place and opted for prawns curry and seer fish curry. We also ordered pappadams and wood apple juice.
Both the curries had excessive coconut cream curry in the dishes. The juice was not great either. Was it the effect of the national holiday of 30th april ??? We dont know.
We popped in for a quick bite. Vegetable curry and rice. Absolutely delicious. Fresh tasting and the rice for one was plenty for two, on the waiters advice. Good value
Very nice atmosphere with pub and music. Awesome prawn specialty. Great service and reasonably priced. Recommend this restaurant for a pleasant relaxed evening.
Lovely food, Kids love the Hidden fantasy (chicken breast batter fried with chips)
Thai fried rice was tasty.
They have a small play area for the kids.
Only thing i didnt like was the mosquitos.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
