We hired a boat from Tiberias and had a lovely trip on the Lake.
There are some public beaches . The views from the hills over the lake are spectacular.

If you are in Israel to tour, you must go to the Sea of Galilee. It is amazing. The history is wonderful. Go on the Jesus boat. It is a great experience.

Definitely worth a visit. Scenery really great. Boat ride is recommended. Take something warm as weather could turn quite quickly.

With so much biblical history attached to this place it is wonderful to actually see it. Very stormy when we visited so boat ride not as special as could have been. But still much fun. Restricted swimming in boiled off areas. But a great place to tick off a bucket list swim. Loads of fish and if you stand still they will give you a pedicure.
