This place is surrounded by rice fields and it’s totally worth the trek to get there so you can have great food with a view. I recommend going there for the sunset. It’s a nice place to get away from the city noise.

Have walked the track many times in the early morning, so decided to come when they were open for a mid morning drink and snack. Firstly if you are taking the track from the main road the 'rice field walk' sign is no longer on the wall. So it will be even harder to find. There are smaller signs, but if you are heading in the direction of the Ubud market you will probably miss it. It has been improved even concrete steps in one part that was pretty perilous last year. It's longer but easier to go up Jalan Kajeng if it's your first time. The place is in beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Was a bit disappointed they had no young coconuts as they have shells hanging everywhere. Opted for a beetroot drink instead. Liked that they put sugar syrup on the side as I found it quite sweet enough without, some places just assume every drink needs to be sweet. Had the tasting plate of lumpar, corn fritter ect. To be honest the sauce was great but the fritter mix was nothing special. Prices are cheap, and there is no need to hurry there. So not sure I would recommend as a must go place to eat in Ubud. But if you are wandering among the rice fields I would recommend it as a must stop to enjoy the 'feel' of Ubud, as much of it is being quickly lost.

Awesome! Food is good, staff is helpful and friendly, the place is just amazing.

Go here walking.. We went by scooter but it's not without danger, super small alleys in the rice fields. Not easy to come there since Google maps sends you the wrong way..

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Food is great, at a good price.
There is no white rice which is great if you're fed up of the local food.
Lovely quiet venue just off the main street
