2 star hotel at most. Room 211 : outdated toilet year 1950, rusty tub and sink, dirty sheets and towels, don't even smell fresh. On top of that they charged me 100000 rp for one towel with orange juice drops on it:))) breakfast is not worthy to be included in the room price as there's nothing to eat besides toast and eggs.
Nice pool but not cleaned properly with trash floating, dumping chemicals would not work.

The only up side is the nice lady working at the reception. For 500000/ night you can stay at a 5 star hotel in nusa dua( like the Nest Hotel) and enjoy your time.

We stayed at Taman Agung, Sanur for 3 nights last week. The positive things are the nice (small) pool and garden, good location, and decent rooms (cleaned well every day).
TV, plenty of sockets for charging batteries and water kettle available in the main room, but bad idea to have the washbasin in the bedroom and not in the bathroom, plus walk-in showers would be better (bathtub not really necessary)).
Laundry was returned correctly and not expensive @ 60k.
Breakfast is passable but not a hearty meal to start the day. I recommend that overall the food should be improved, which might attract more visitors to the usually deathly quiet restaurant.
Reception helpful (Manik especially knows how to deal with guests in a friendly manner) and maintenance responded quickly to some minor problems. The restaurant staff are functional rather than cheery.

The Taman Agung Hotel is in the centre of Sanur but for sure quiet. Not a very big hotel but it has a nice pool with sunbeds. Staff is very friendly and helpful and even lent us a driver for visiting temple and beach in south Bali.
Choice at served breakfast is not overwhelming but everything tasted very good. The hotel is close to the beach but the beach is quite small at this point. Very nice restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. The room had a balcony, good airconditioning and complementary water bottles. We had some nice days here.

Set back from the main thoroughfare of Sanur, the Taman Agung is a very pleasant and peaceful sanctuary from the usual Bali bustle. The rooms are clean and cool, and the pools are just what is needed to help relax after a busy and hot day out. The breakfast is not too exciting but otherwise this is a lovely place to stay in Sanur. Centrally located.
