We stayed in one of the private villas with pool, i think the name of the villa was cenga. The villa itself was amazing- one main building with the modern bathroom, including outdoor and indoor shower, along with the bedroom (with steps leading directly into the pool). The second building was the eating area and living room, both very comfortable. The service, food (we could order as much as we wanted from the menu) and the villa iteself were absolutely fantastic, a pure dream and very luxurious. However, the reason for the 4-star rating is two-fold. First, the pool, although large and spacious, was absolutely freezing in October/November, and therefore not very enjoyable. This was probably mainly due to the utter lack of sunshine reaching the pool and pool deck throughout the day because of the many trees in the yard (this may be different in other villas). We asked the staff if adjusting the temperature was possible, but unfortunately it wasn't because they don't have heaters. Secondly, and most importantly, was the utter disappointment of their beach. It took you about an 8-min bike ride from the villa to the actual beach, which is divided into many sections, each belonging to an adjacent hotel. The beach section of the Kayumanis was about 40-50min wide, and was completely covered in seaweed and kelp, at least 10m deep into the water. There was absolutely no way to enter the water without first sinking and going under in seaweed. Contrasting to that were the very well kept beaches of the hotels next door. We were absolutely disappointed and devastated. When attempting to use the other sections of the beach, we were quickly reprimanded by the hotel staff of both our and the other hotel. We were so upset that we complained to the manager, who then organized two workers to start cleaning up the beach. Two days later they still weren't done, still tons of seaweed, that we just gave up and organized ourselves a scooter to go to other nearby public beaches. We ended up sneaking onto one of the nearby private beaches and laid on the ground for our last day.
Overall, the villa and the luxurios feeling is worth the money, but the beach and cold pool ruined our stay. I think we would stay here again if the pool temperature becomes adjustable and rhe beach was better taken care of.

All villas are equipped with a swimming pool, lush garden, great outdoor settings. Very attentive staff 24 hours a day, they were able to accommodate our needs for transport for free in the Sanur area, from 7am to 11pm daily.
You can also hire a driver to take you to further destinations like we went to Ubud and the GWK park. Service options are 5-hour (half day) or 8-hour (full day). Every driver we've had was well aware of everywhere we wanted to go.
During our trips to Ubud, we we got to have our daily high tea at their Ubud property and also a chance to inspect their Jimbaran property. They were all unique in their own way, beautiful staff across the board. All in all I would recommend to people to come to Kayumanis Resort!
Keep up the exceptional work and a huge thank you to all the staff for giving us such a wonderful stay!

Stayed at the lovely Kayumanis Sanur villa for 2 nights in my last few days stay in Bali. It was a nice quiet and zen escape after travels for 2 weeks through Ubud and Uluwatu. The staff went above and beyond accommodating me with the smallest details from changing the free open mini bar to all glass spring mineral water (because I don’t drink soda or beer) to the multiple wake up calls.. (I was on Bali time).

My villa was gorgeous and was lovely having breakfast in my outdoor living room as well as a receiving a massage.

The staff and butler truly ensured that I was comfortable and I highly recommend Kayumanis Sanur and their other properties. I’ve stayed at their Ubud location last year which was also so lovely!
