One of the best places we have ever stayed in over 50 years of international travel.

In a word — FLAWLESS

We will return with more family !

Breath taking sunrises. Amazing rooms with antiques and grounds that are immaculate. It felt as if we were transported back in time .

To top it all off — the guest released 100 turtles , children from the villages came and danced Balinese traditional dances and a night market of delicacies and artful creations .

Make sure you are here on a
Friday and Saturday . A priceless experience !

7 nights in a spacious bungalow with an outdoor shower (and a massive bath tub indoor). A private gazebo in the yard was a great spot to chill out in the evenings with a drink and a good book.

The resort is an architecture gem and very well maintained although it has a 40 years history. The service is attentive with attention to the smallest details. There is a private beach and an excellent restaurant.

And it is peaceful oh so peaceful...

Tip 1: Wake up early and grab a cup of Balinese coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice from the restaurant and don’t miss the sunrise...watch that orange sun coming slowly out of the sea...

Tip 2: The breakfast menu is very good (not buffet) but don’t stop there! The lunch/ dinner menu is excellent. Fresh tasty meals paired with well crafted cocktails from the bar. Must try.

Tip 3: next to the towels station there are 2 SUPs tucked in the corner...free for the guests...great way to explore the shallow water of the reef just in front of the resort

Beautiful resort and grounds sticking as much as possible to traditional Bali. Stone and wood carvings abound. Units have pleasant outdoor seating areas. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Many areas other than the pool and beach to relax. A real gem

Room Tip: Sea View doesn't give sea view but is close to beach.

Stayed here for 2 nights & wish it had been for longer. This hotel is so seeped in history you could just get carried away with it's 'stories'. I even bought the book! The bungalow was beautiful (not as big as I thought), gardens are amazing, view to the beach is sensational, food at the restaurant & breakfast you couldn't better anywhere but it's the staff! They are the most friendly, polite, funny, beautiful people. Thank you all so much for making our stay such a pleasure. See you all again as soon as possible.

This is a wonderful, enchanting and relaxing place. Away from the hub dub of the street and with the best view of the beach. Food is excellent, we enjoyed thier street market set up on the beach sitting under palms and experiencing the evening breeze. Dance troop rehearsal. Gym and bicycle hire. An absolute delight

Room Tip: 2 storey villa is a special treat but all rooms are good
