Really not impressed with this hotel, the entrance looks so much better than the rooms. It’s a very basic budget hotel.

Pros:
-cheap
-delicious breakfast
-10 min walk from the beach
-cheap & good massages
-friendly staff
-good laundry service, not cheap though (around £7.50)

Cons:
-Very old building and you can tell it’s a budget hotel. It has a loud mosque next to it.
-Big pool but full of screaming kids.
-Very poor wi-fi.
-has a private beach but it’s just not worth it. Tried it twice. Very small area and a rocky shore which makes it painful to get in the water. Suggestion - halfway back from the beach towards the hotel (walking down the foot path by the beach) there is a hotel that has a big 3m deep pool and is almost empty, you can pay 75k (around £4) and use it for the day. We could not find where to pay so we just chilled there anyway :)

-On our second morning I woke up from cigarette smoke in our room, I think someone was smoking in their room and smoking is allowed in hallways too....

-staff asking are we finished with our breakfast while we are still eating it... and once we are done before we get up they are there again to take everything away. Give people some space, it’s not nice.

- there are no bills, pay for everything straight away, including room service and drinks by the pool

Has a few lizards in hallway but it’s Bali, they are everywhere. We had one in our room but it did not bother us.

Overall if I was really saving money I’d stay here but other than that - it’s not great, very cheap feel to everything.

Thank you for your review on the TripAdvisor website, we are sorry that you felt our hotel was a budget hotel, but not too sure how you can quantify this because of our location? The kids in the pool were having fun, we do apologies if this did upset you. The reason you would have to pay for your meals directly afterwards is that you did not give us your credit card to Pre authorise on check in. Even in expensive hotels you would also need to pre authorise you credit card so you can sign your meals to your room. Thank you for your kind words with regards to the delicious breakfast and the friendly staff.

The hotel:

Absolutely beautiful big, and has great facilities! The gym and spa are clean and in good condition also the swimmingpool

The food:

Amazing breakfast lots of variety! We will try lunch and dinner soon!

The staf:

Very friendly and patient! All of the people working here greet you friendly and make sure you have a pleasent stay! I have been in a lot of hotels small and big! This is the first big hotel that have all staf i have seen so far have been friendly and helpfull!

Swimmingpool:

Huge! The sun beds are busy but you can still get a spot.

Arrival and room:

When we arrived in a beautiful entrance we where welcomed with a lovely drink and helped friendly to our room. The room we had was small and we have asked and payed for an upgrade .. We had a little misunderstanding with the upgrade , cause the we asked for a bigger room and we couldnt see it before hand cause it was fully booked till next morning.
So after i payed and we where able to get in the room just to find out that this was exact same room and size only addition pool acces. And I was not happy but still the people at the reception stayed calm and deffinetly did their best to help us.. The manager Mario contacted us later on the day and offerd us a new upgrade.

thank you for taking profesionly care of this!

Impressions:
When you arrive at the hotel, they have security checking the car!
When you go at the reception the staff is polite, kind, and very carrying for you.
The place is HUGE! The pool is divided in different depths, so you can chose which one fits bests for you or your family.
The yard, as the rest of the hotel, is very clean and well kept (how do they manage to keep everything that clean and well organized?).
Food: There was a buffet for the breakfast with a wide option of choices from fruits to beacon going through eggs, fish, muffins, salads, rice, and more...
Location: It's a good location, not far from the beach, and the Hotel has the bus that takes you to other beaches and shopping centers.
Rooms: All rooms were clean. We were in room 265, but since Bali is an exotic place, we found a lizard in our room, so we got moved to room 273. Room 265 was just amazing, while 273 had a humidity smell in it, so they upgraded us to room 115 which is a pool access room. Sadly enough room 115 had an even heavier smell, so they offer us to go around checking rooms to find one that we like (do you get that? one that we liked...) we checked 122 and 166 but they also had a bad smell. We eventually found room 130 (suite), it didn't have the heavy humidity smell of the other rooms, regardless of the trick they pulled off with the refresher in the air conditioner.

So, in all and all, a very good fit for the price you pay.

Room Tip: Good rooms 130 and 265. Bad rooms 273, 115, 122 and 166.

When we arrived we were welcomed by a lot of friendly faces. The staff behind the reception explained everything and really took the time to do this, eventhough there were more people waiting to check in.
The staff was friendly and the boys working in the lobbybar were so kind! They really made our stay memorable.
We stayed in the room with a terrace and view on the pool. The room was clean and there was a nice bottle of water when we arrived. The beds in the room were lovely, we never had such nice beds in a hotel.
We were here during the earthquakes, but the hotel staff stayed calmed and calmed the guests who were in panic.
The only thing we thought was pitty, was that there were only a few sunbeds by the pool, but you could take the bus from the hotel to their partner hotel which had a bigger pool with a lot of sunbeds.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Much thanks to the staff.

Room Tip: We hired a car + driver at the service desk, this was the best!

It's not at all worth of money. People go to Bali for relaxation but this hotel is very crowded as it has 400+ rooms. Food is also not good especially for vegetarians.
Most of the tourist spots are far.

Thank you for your review on the TripAdvisor website, I see that you were a delegate for the 3 day IEEE conference and was part of the large crowd occupying the hotel. We do apologise about the vegeterian food, all menus had been pre approved by the organising committee before the event. We are located very close to major tourist spots as highlighted by other reviewers on the TripAdvisor website.
