We had two days to visit Varanasi and being an avid photographer wanted to cover as much of the city yet understand its cultural and food nuances. Anupam the photo mentor was simply fabulous. He was like my shadow self thinking acting and helping in every shape and form. He also made sure we were treated to the most authentic Kashi delicacies and went out of the way to make sure we were happy. Boy this is one of the most soul fulfilling visits I have had in a long time and full credit goes to this amazing person Anupam. Ayush and Mudati two more great human beings also accompanied us on Day 1 and 2 and made all the difference in regaling us with interesting facts and stories. If there was a 7 Star I would definitely give them one...Totally Completely happy with Roobaroo walks and cant wait to go on a second one with them. Thank you Anupam, Aayush and Mudati.

We did 2 tours with Roobaroo.
Both guides we had were great - very knowledgeable and so interesting to talk to. They took very good care of us - especially when I succumbed to a dose of "Delhi Belly" during one tour - and it was a pleasure to spend time with them. They explained everything so clearly and well, and we really felt we had an "insiders' tour" as they showed us places we would never have found by ourselves. They are a little more expensive than some but very well worth the money - you get what you pay for!

This was a lovely walk which started at St Thomas Church and wound it's way across the town and through the narrow back streets, eventually finishing at the Manikarnika Ghat. We visited various interesting buildings and areas along the way and tried some sweet street food, including Lassi.

Mudita was an excellent guide who gave lots of information, walked at a good pace and we enjoyed her company. We felt we had learned a lot by the time our tour ended.

We did several tours with Roobaroo and really enjoyed them. We would never have experienced so much without a guide. We had two different guides - both were excellent and really knew their stuff. Their enthusiasm for Varanasi was very infectious.
We did a food tour which allowed us to sample loads of local foods - some were quite unique and we’d never have found them on our own.
We also did morning and evening boat/walk tours and got to see so much of the city and meet the local people.
I would totally recommend Roobaroo. They really made our trip special.

This was absolutely amazing while we were in Varanasi. Sudarshan was our tour great and he was extremely patient. He gave us a lot of information and led us around the city. We got to have amazing street food as well before going to see the ceremony. You if you are looking for a tour this is it—do t look further!
