Owner description: The Memorial was dedicated in 1971 and was the first major Vietnam memorial in the United States. In 1987 Congress recognized the site as a memorial of national significance. Our visitor center features educational exhibits. The grounds are a peaceful and beautiful backdrop for the Chapel.

Have been here before, but not for Memorial Day. My daughter got me a brick of honor and we decided to go for Memorial Day. What a moving experience. Could not have honored the Vietnam and other Veterans more. Thanks to more people than I can name, this was an eye opening. Dorie and I will be back to not only for the Memorial but the local people that made us feel at home. Much THANKS to Deb and the crew at Angel Fire Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The Westphall Family has a lasting memorial to a son and soldiers that will Never Be Forgotten.

Ran to the memorial from my campsite and I was really impressed with the memorial. If you're in the area during Memorial Day, please make sure you visit for the annual service. Thanks NM.

Recently visited this memorial during Memorial Day events. Very moving experience. This place is so beautiful and it is considered home to all Veterans. We attended the Memorial Day service and the director personally came to every person and thanked them for attending. The facility itself is immaculate and very informative, it’s location could not be any better. DO NOT MISS THIS SPECIAL PLACE!

Whether or not you know anything about the Vietnam War, if you are near here, please visit this Memorial. The exhibits are excellent and there is a poignant movie of actual soldiers and events. There is also a chapel for reflection. I don't know how this could not bring a tear to your eyes.

We go to the museum every season to remind ourselves of the service of our Veterans and support the memorial.
