Just returned from the Coffee Grove Resort !!!
Great property !!! Well managed !!!
Its about 20 minutes out of the town which makes it perfect . Not far , yet away from the town.
The property is located amidst a coffee plantation !!! Its like a home stay , but with better facilities and services.
The rooms are spacious and adequately furnished.
Bathrooms are super clean.
Food is above average but the service is very quick and courteous.
The staff goes out of the way to accomodate guest requests.
Mr. Rangarajan , the Partner and General Manager has built a great team of eager and enthusiastic service providers !!! It doesnt matter if they are professionally trained or not , but they serve efficiently and with a smile !! At the end of the day this is what matters.
We thank each and every team member and wish I could write all the names here !! Please keep up the wonderful job !!!! You will see us soon again !!!

This property is neatly maintained with helpful staff, the rooms were clean & tidy. The food is pretty decent. If you want to destress yourself, this is the place to be, its located inside the Coffee plantation & rooms are situated in between the trees & coffee Plants. Sightseeing places are bit far from this place, plan for just lazing around the property. You find a Play area for kids & a clean, beautiful Swimming pool. You can just walk around the property , no need of going out for relaxation. I had booked a Deluxe cottage, the rooms were really very nice. I would like to visit this place once again to experience the Plantation stay . Don't have second thoughts, awesome place to stay.

Room Tip: Cottages nearer the Reception is a good choice !!

We stayed for three nights in the deluxe cottage. Cottages are surrounded by the coffee plantation. Getting up in the morning with bird chirps will make your day. The place is really serene and stays cool in the noon because of the tree shades. The staff is really caring but bit unorganized. Food choice is limited. You can enjoy swimming pool, badminton and cycling. Kids will love trampoline, slides, and swings. It is a nice experience to walk around the property in the evening. My daughter loved taking pictures of many varieties of flowers planted in the property.

The resort is located around 18km from Chikmagalur. We could locate the resort comfortably with the help of Google map. The resort is amidst coffee and spice plantation.

The cottages are well maintained and the path that leads to the cottage is awesome.
We had opted for Deluxe category cottage which can comfortably accommodate couples and 1/2 kids. Every deluxe cottage consists of two rooms, with each room having two private sit outs - one in the entrance and one at the backside.

The food is not that great. The breakfast was average with very few options. We had ordered dinner to be served at our room. Though the service was good but the taste of the food did not live up to our expectations. The resort has quite a number of recreational facilities: swimming pool, cycling, badminton, Bonfire(on weekends), etc.

We found the service was good. The response the front desk is great.

Overall we had a Great Stay away from the hustles of the city.

Room Tip: Deluxe cottages located near the restaurant/entrance

Its a beautiful resort amid coffee plantation, lush green, You can just keep walking in the property and enjoy the nature inside the resort.

There are multiple cottages and each cottage can have 2 or more rooms(different guests). We got a cottage which had 2 rooms (deluxe category). Entrance to the cottage is beautiful. It has private sit out area.

Food is average, din't find it great but not bad either, Chinese was tasteless. Rest of the items were fine. Price is as per any resort/hotel of this category, but they should improve on taste. Breakfast was better, though with standard few items (idly, vada, poha, upma etc)

They have quite a few activities to enjoy, Badminton, Carom, TT, Cycling, Archery, Bon Fire with good music etc. They can arrange sight seeing on request.

Service is good, polite and courteous staff.

Last 2 to 3 kms of road is muddy, but perfectly drivable. But in general the last 8-10 kms of road leading to resort is quite bad, full of pot holes.

Its a recommended resort for sure.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, rooms near to the reception gives quick access to play area, swimming pool etc.
